tank getting his feet wet at 140...shoul he go directly to the man at 140 which is a tougher fight to make given that its a top rank/pbc co promotion and its not exactly a fever pitched fight?

i know this guy is just talking to be noticed and get tanks attention...but be realistic....barrios/tank is an easier fight to make and taylor just fought...lol....the ****** stuff that comes out of peoples mouths sometimes....

Thread title's accurate but kinda misleading cos it suggests Akhmedov's somehow being dismissive of the fight. Actually Akhmedov's really pretty complimentary towards both Tank and Mario, merely acknowledging the facts of it and saying it's a fight that makes sense for both of 'em. Be looking forward to seeing Batyr back in action tonight but aside from that I'll be rooting for him cos of the Barrios L he also seems like a decent sorta dude and he's definitely a decent fighter.

Yeah, he was being honest and gave both fighters props, definitely wasn't hating at all.

If Tank wins, he's going to move down in all likelihood so Akhmedov should be in position to fight for the world title or be given the world title and then it puts him in position to call for the Super WBA title. Taylor may move up to 147 after his next fight but either way, Akhmedov should be in position to challenge for the title in 2022.

Tank is moving through the divisions and seeing how he likes 140. I actually think Barrios is a great fight to gauge where he’s at. The Aztec Prince is no pushover and this is a legit fight we have on our hands.

I personally don’t think Tank has the dimensions to be dominant at 140. I think he should move back down.

Kovalev had 3 belts. Lost to ward and recovered one of those belts before losing to canelo. Dont try to act like kovalev was some guy who only was a champion because of the wbo. He was the kingpin of the division until SOG ended him.
