For a guy who basically fought a who's who of nobodies, he's done pretty good for himself financially.

Your all selling him short here, yes I'll agree he's a massive ****, but what gypsy isn't, the fact is he took 4 rounds out of 8 from a prime nelo and that's more than what most boxers do, and yea I get ppl wanna see the scan but it was clear he did actually have a broken face, even nelo knew it he was celebrating even before the cnr stopped it cos he knew what had happened as soon as the punch landed, u can all rip on him and rightly so for the fact he got the same injury as dubois and pulled out just like dubois after claiming he would die in the ring before quitting, but when you're actually in the ring and your vision is completely gone that bravado quickly evaporates, I wanna see him come back as that's a bad way to go out but wouldn't be surprised if he didn't, solely cos that's a bad injury to come back from in your 30's, look at Kell brook, he's never looked the same since the Golovkin and Spence fights, dubois and inoue were young when they had that injury and much more capable of coming back strongly, I feel the hate towards bjs is more cos he's British and cos of the state of the heavyweight division at the moment there's a lot of ppl jelly in here and ready to tear into any percieved setback for a British fighter

Everybody gets humbled in life at times kids. Being on top of your game and thinking you are the best is paramount to attain a world title belt and keep it for a minute. Sure, being an ass hat gets you in trouble but that doesn't seem to be the deal breaker in these times. You can be a good human being and people will still hate. Yes Billy is or was an skid stain, hell of of boxer fam. I hope he recovers from this huge attitude adjustment, comes back as a better man and fighter period.

Lets not forget he took 3 rounds of Canelo, possibly 4 - he made Canelo's footwork and movement look sloppy in several instances and made him miss a lot. The problem was he literally got caught with the perfect shot as his dipping downwards coincided with the Canelo pivoting the full force of his hips into that uppercut which made a mess of his orbital and cheek. BJS had won 3 rounds on the spin coming into that 8th round and was clearly growing into the fight - who knows what the scorecards would've looked like had the fight gone the distance, we all know Canelo fades badly in fights and has stamina issues when he isn't taking PEDS.

Saunders should have a fight against Callum Smith to finish his career in a less brutal fashion.

He was always cashing out vs Canelo. That’s why he quit, BJS always lacked ambition, he’s made his money though so fair play to him.
