He belongs with the uk domestic level talent and not on the world stage. Similar to the smiths and fielding.
Nah he's not that bad actually - he has good reflexes and is slippery but as you correctly say he doesn't live the life in between fights. Lets not forget he took 3 rounds of Canelo, possibly 4 - he made Canelo's footwork and movement look sloppy in several instances and made him miss a lot. The problem was he literally got caught with the perfect shot as his dipping downwards coincided with the Canelo pivoting the full force of his hips into that uppercut which made a mess of his orbital and cheek. BJS had won 3 rounds on the spin coming into that 8th round and was clearly growing into the fight - who knows what the scorecards would've looked like had the fight gone the distance, we all know Canelo fades badly in fights and has stamina issues when he isn't taking PEDS.

Let me guess, he really wants to continue but it's not his choice, his corner are forcing him to retire against his will?

Well BJS was mean't to fight GGG in 2017 but that was scrapped in favor of Canelo vs GGG 1. As for Charlo - he's a fighter who can fight at 160 or 168 just like BJS who could bring being a two division champion to the table. BJS vs Jacobs might not bring in big money but both are with Matchroom so its a easy fight to make. Both are also former champions, BJS is a southpaw and Jacobs is a switch hitter so stylistically it would be a fun fight to watch.

I agree it would be a good fight but the way njs talks with 50-50. He doesnt seem all that into tough fights. It seems like he wants easy big money fights judging by the quotes

First Prince Naseem....the Hatton...now Saunders. One loss and those Brits are beaten into submission. Sure Hatton took 2 cash fight losses and then a beating...but he walked away instead of improved. The Prince took an easy one for vanity on his way out. Saunders gonna have an ego fight against some no hope then we won't hear from him again.

As I always say, the belt went/returned to the correct fighter. Lol

BJS is now set for life. His family and Fury’s, in 20 years, will reminisce while getting wasted on how Canelo broke his face! Campfire too

LOL Brits love getting beat into retirement.

The funny part is Billy Hoe can retire and Sid-Knee will stillbe in these forums talking about BJS had a legendary career just like he does about Naseem.

Yep well, i suppose if they'd spunked all their cash living the highlife they could've been fighting for scraps into their late 40's...

Duh, he wouldn't fight anyone of note and got his payday. Hopefully he keeps fighting for now and fights good competition.
