I am interested to see how well Logan and Jake can take mayweathers shots. Conor took his shots better than I thought but connor is still an elite pro and was in his prime back then.

From what we have seen from mayweather with conor and teshin, he will not carry logan the entire fight. He might toy with him a bit but he will put it on him for the stoppage. Logan has been sparring his ****** friends, they are like his size and have zero boxing experience, that doesnt prepare him for floyd at all. He needs to be sparring smaller pros. Floyd is going to wreck him to sell the Jake fight. It will be interestign to see how many body shots and head shots he is willing to take or if he will just quit like a bish when it gets rough. He is going to be so gassed with floyd. conor was so gassed he was about to fall over without being punched and he was an elite fighter in his prime.

Nobody is preventing fights. Fights happen every year with PBC!

However, people like Crawford and Spence bickering and not fighting each other causes things like this where money is decidedly being made outside of top tier professional boxers...
        I agree

If fighters knew how to promote themselves and had teams that knew how to promote them and actually fought good competition i.e. each other in the case of Spence and Crawford, then these exhibitions would just be something off the side, a bit of fun.

the boxing business and lack of personalities is ruining boxing, not a few YouTube fights a year.

In Crawford and Spence you have two top-notch fighters with no personality to sell themselves and no real willingness to fight each other. So the public don’t even demand it.

Then you have boxing politics and shady Arbitration cases coming up after months of the biggest fight in boxing supposedly being almost confirmed.

The sport is a joke and it’s not because of Jake Paul.

There are too many examples of PBC fighters fighting on other platforms, so I'm gonna give that a restt. Just in 2021 alone, two major fights failed, Tank vs. KingRy, and Crawford vs. Porter! PBC was not the blame! Take that for what is worth!

                  Nah you misunderstood

I’m annoyed that some , mostly Bob Arum were going ahead with plans for a unification for almost a year when there was a chance it may not happen due to a case, but all along saying it won’t be an issue. It’s not a great look for boxing and leaves people tired of boxing politics. It turns some potential fans away from the sport, the fact the biggest fight isn’t happening when they were told it was. That’s not Wilder’s fault, he did what he had to. But a year long circus between two other teams making a fight that can be easily stopped by one a ruling that had yet to be determined, it just makes the sport into a joke. Eddie isn’t without blame either, he also knew there was a case going on and he’s been running his mouth since January saying it’ll be announced “in 2 weeks”.

as for the actual trilogy fight, it is what it is. If it has to be done as it was ruled, then we’ll all be watching won’t we?

Anyway, if both Fury and AJ are the best in the division, as is currently the general consensus, then both should be able overcome the next fights and fight later in the year with no roadblocks.

I’m at a point with boxing now where I’m going to stop caring about the politics and circus. just tell me when fighters are fighting, who they’re fighting and when they’re coming to the ring.

Thank you kind sir! Why do you think PBC gets so much hate? It almost seems like many feel Haymon should just tell his fighters "Go fight on HBO, go fight on ESPN, go fight on DAZN," yet fighters from other platforms are not fighting on PBC cards unless it's joint venture like May vs. Pac, or Wilder vs. Fury! Why the f--k would he do that? Jacobs wants to fight GGG on HBO fine. Dervy wants to fight Jacobs on HBO fine. Dervy wants to fight GGG on DAZN fine. Castano wants to fight Texieira on DAZN fine. Ruiz wants to fight Joshua on DAZN fine. Charlo won't fight Andrade on DAZN...Haymon killing the sport! GTFOH!

I keep thinking this sorta thing to. I just don't know the upside of it. He keeps fighting these popular guys who get their own money coming in so Floyd probably isn't as much of a favorite as he should be so the value isn't realllllllly there due to the amount you'd have to put down to win a greater amount then his likely purse. And some with round props if he wanted to get stopped in 3 lets say. Round props usually don't go beyond +10,000 that I've seen so you'd have to get 10k down on the 3rd round KO to win a million, but thats gonna knock down those odds drastically & get red flags all over the place for folks looking at this numbers. So unless Floyd is taking a dive for a piece of Jake's or Logan's next decade or two income idk that it'd be possible or make sense.

The thing I think about too is when does size & age beat skill? 40 something Floyd can beat a 20 something novelty boxer who's 30lbs heavier, but can a 50 something Floyd beat a novelty boxer in a decade who's 100lbs bigger than him? At some point age & size beats skill I just don't know when that path gets crossed. Maybe Floyd will help us figure that out.
