I won't beat up on Manny because of all his demands, after all, he is the cash cow for this fight and I guess he earned the right to demand whether I like it or not, and beleive me I don't like it!!! However Cotto is an inteligent boxer and he knew what he was facing and signed for.

What really tics me is how several posters here, some even very good ones I must add, insist on saying, "Cotto should retire if he doesn't beat Pacman", "if Cotto doesn't ko Pacman he'll be a disgrace to Puerto Rico and boxing", "Cotto has the advantage in this fight".

All of this and more has been said about Cotto when the fact is that all but 1 advantage plays in Pacquiao's favor for this fight, power.

Pacman has more speed, more conditioning, more movement, bigger ring, better corner, home court advantage, catchweight and the list goes on.

Hell those posters already have made their own alibi (excuses) to discredit Cotto's victory if he wins with all the BS that they have been saying all these days.

If Miguel Cotto wins, he will get full credit from me.

Meh, Paq's gotten everything he's wanted might as well give him the rest. Its been stated that Paq's going to run or that Manny is a warrior and likes to exchange, which one exactly gives him an advantage in this fight. Most people say he has to box in order to win this fight, yet some of those people say he likes to get in there and exchange, if that in fact happens do you honestly think Paq is going to win the fight that way? It took Marg 11 rounds of CONSTANTLY coming forward to finally get rid of Cotto, Manny is nowhere near as strong or big as him I'm giving that advantage to Cotto.

Secondly, he does have to box in order to win but sadly people only remember Cotto's last two close fights and forgets that his main game is being the pressure guy and cutting off the ring. He beat, Judah, Quintana and Paulie by doing just that cutting off the ring from boxers, that's possibly Cotto's biggest strength as a fighter. Sure its not going to be nearly as easy as a guy with Manny's speed and a ring this size but I think Cotto has proven he can overcome speed and agility. Manny does move in and out more than anyone Cotto has face thus far, but again Cotto has that jab. I've said it before these guys are just complete mirror images of each other in the ring. Each advantage one guy has over the other, his opponent has a weapon to counter it, except for contract negotiation of course, cuz Manny gets what he wants, period.
