This reminds me of Oscar - Floyd...Goldie got ALL of the concesions, and still got beat. All of these advantages in Manny's favor are meant to give him the only chance he has, and that's to end things by the 6th. If that doesn't happen (and I'm betting it won't), Cotto puts it on him in the second half, and could quite possibly knock him the f#ck out.

Cotto don't run fool, despite what many say, I think he fights well going backwards. It's a strategy, which is the same thing they say about fakeweather ain't it? Once pac felt the pressure and boldness of morales, he ran a lot, not strategy, cuz he never really does it. Cotto fights backwards often.

Enough of this pissing contest. Manny is not a runner, but a ring of this size does give him more space to maneuver and it may also make it a little harder for Cotto to close off the ring the way he usually does against same-sized or smaller-sized fighters.

But whatever. Manny can have all the advantages but it won't change what will happen come fight night.

I won't beat up on Manny because of all his demands, after all, he is the cash cow for this fight and I guess he earned the right to demand whether I like it or not, and beleive me I don't like it!!! However Cotto is an inteligent boxer and he knew what he was facing and signed for.

What really tics me is how several posters here, some even very good ones I must add, insist on saying, "Cotto should retire if he doesn't beat Pacman", "if Cotto doesn't ko Pacman he'll be a disgrace to Puerto Rico and boxing", "Cotto has the advantage in this fight".

All of this and more has been said about Cotto when the fact is that all but 1 advantage plays in Pacquiao's favor for this fight, power.

Pacman has more speed, more conditioning, more movement, bigger ring, better corner, home court advantage, catchweight and the list goes on.

Hell those posters already have made their own alibi (excuses) to discredit Cotto's victory if he wins with all the BS that they have been saying all these days.

It's been revealed that a 24-foot ring will be used for the November 14 bout between WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao. The ring size was requested by Team Pacquiao during the negotiations. It lays out the battle plan of Pacquiao to stick and move, jump in with combinations and jump right out before Cotto can counter.
