It seems so many people are all high on Whyte, the same guy who was ko’ed by Joshua and then a Jesus aged Provetkin, come on Wilder is weak in many areas I’ll admit but don’t make Whyte out to be some ********* threat either, he not and I’m picking Provetkin to KO his ass again!

Funny how Eddie speaking about wilder losing and all of a sudden wanting Whyte. I haven’t forgot how Eddie refused to deal with wilder because there wasn’t “a venue or date, and you can’t make a fight with no date”. But all of a sudden he’s signed off Aj fury with no date or venue? Did he ask canelo for proof of funds before making Saunders canelo? Eddie still contradicting himself daily I see. Foolio he is!!-1 likes this.

Whyte vs Povetkin, I just hope the best man wins. It would be fun to see Wilder fight the winner, but I strongly doubt that happens. I have some doubts Wilder will ever contest a meaningful boxing match again.NC Uppercut likes this.

Wilder seems to never have been the same fighter after the 1st fury fight. After that fight he's been way less aggressive and too patient waiting to score a ko throwing less punches. He either got lazy or content defending the wbc belt...or his opponents were so weak that he thought he could just wait out the fights and be lucky enough to win with one punch. Look at Ortiz 2, fury 2.. Even breazeale where the fight was over with 1 punch. He needs to get back to attacking and being wild like he used to... That is his strength. Not sitting back losing rounds aiming for 1 punch ko.
Whyte is a slugger with heart but he's not the same fighter when he fought aj and lost. I don't see him being very technical at all like wilder. He throws a better jab and body punch than wilder but his strength is slugging it out too.
would be an interesting fight but i see wilder koing whyte given that whyte has also become too patient as a fighter... That cost him the Povetkin fight. If he just went after povetkin he would have won but he went conservative and got koed instead.FlyingFJ likes this.

Not having a venue or a date suddenly isn't important to Fast Eddie anymore.FlyingFJ likes this.

JOSHUA ACCEPTS $50 MILLION OFFER ON INSTAGRAM
Anthony Joshua wasted no time and replied to Wilder’s Instagram post saying ‘Let’s Roll’. This will be the biggest fight in both boxer’s careers as Wilder currently has a 40-0 record with 39 KO’s while Joshua has 21 fights with 20 KO’s. Should the fight materialize, .
Joshua has had all his fights take place in the United Kingdom and Wilder had earlier said that he would be willing to take the fight in the UK. However, that will most likely change as the fight offer gives Wilder the opportunity to select where the fight will take place. If Joshua does not object, the heavyweight fight will and could be done before the end of 2018.
Wilder’s ex-promoter claims he was AXED for trying to set up Anthony Joshua fight as Brit says ‘truth shall prevail’

So, as you point out, this turn of events favours the view that it was team Wilder who didn’t want the Joshua-Wilder fight. Unfortunately this seems to be the opposite of the viewpoint that you want to put across which is rather embarrassing.
thanks for bringing it up; more evidence of the Deontay duck

So either way, unless I misunderstood, Wilder's next guy is likely Whyte or Povetkin or some kind of can for to tune up for Whyte or Pov?
I mean, there's no loss there. Both are good fights to have. I wouldn't mind both getting a crack at Wilder.
