Like Diaz did against Campbell and Malignaggi? Get real. Kats was winning that Casamayor fight until he got caught by that counter (and sure, he was knocked down twice in the opening round, but take a look at Marquez in that first fight against Pac).

So are Diaz and Valero, just to name names. What's your point? Kats has plenty of time to improve, and he has done since those 2 losses.

Subjective, but no worries. Soon enough the world will see what The Great can do!

At 135, Marquez was already coming in at 145 on fight night. I'm sure that at a 144 fight he will come in at least at 150?

No way Hozay, Marquez ain't going back to 135. His name will be much more marketable win or lose against Mayweather. I see Marquez staying at 140-147 for the big days, especially if he puts up a good fight against Floyd.

Besides you can never rule out Hatton vs Marquez, Khan vs Marquez, Judah vs Marquez, Diaz vs Marquez II, Malignaggi vs Marquez all at 140, plus Marquez vs Mosley at 147 is not impossible to make since they are both in GBP, same with Hatton. Marquez has 2 or 3 good pay days ahead of him now that he's showing more flexibility in the weights that he can fight in.

Marquez at 145lbs will be too slow.......what's the use of his added power if he can't hit the Gayrunner

Gayruner will be too smart to trade punches with cry-baby marquez.......

It would be a tactical match but I'll be expecting a boring hit n run fight..........

Katsidis or Escobedo don't deserve a match with JMM. Katsidis has lost all his biggest fights, Funeka, Joan Guzman would be more worthy of a shot. Anyway, I don't think Marquez is coming back down to 135, he might fight at Jr WW.

I still reckon Marquez-Campbell would be a good fight. I made a topic on it a while ago.

Even if marquez where to lose i do not see him defending the belt against any of these fighters... He will still be amongst the best p4p therefore on his following fight he'll fight a much more credited and known fighter rather than katsidis/escobedo. Hatton/paquiao/mosley/diaz/valero just to name a few would not decline a fight with and would be very profitable for eachother's income. In my opinion regardless of these fighter's not being too profitable he needs to follow mosley leads and look for (the) best fights for he is in his late yrs per say; in the sweet science...

I think JMM will stay at 140 even if he loses to Floyd. There is nobody at 135 and he wants to become the first Mexican fighter to win four divisional titles. I wouldn't be suprised if we get a fight between Bradley and JMM. But I hope JMM breaks Floyd's thug ass in pieces.

You make it sound like he's had loads of these "biggest fights". It's only 2 losses. He got an opportunity on both occasions and put up a good fight. No reason for him not to get another big chance.

Who got dropped twice and was nearly stopped by an old, weak Campbell.

Who? Oh wait, you mean Joan 'AWOL' Guzman who hasn't fought since last year... and has barely fight at all since 2006, for that matter.
