Can anyone tell me whats the big deal with Cotto's weight

Can anyone tell me whats the big deal with Cotto's weight?

Is this another "Cotto special Rules"?

    Cotto special Rules

Champions were viewed as Champions even if they fought for a vacant title. I never remember discussions about "Vacant" title fighters. Until Cotto did it.

Many fighters took knees and more quit in ugly fashion under less pressure. But Cotto's team throws in the towel (Margarito)and Cotto is the worst quitter in boxing.

Fighters like Tyson bit ears was known for elbows, Holyfield head butts, Golota low blow like crazy. But They get on Cotto like he is the dirtiest low blow fighter ever..lol

Cotto fights, Margarito, Clottey(with a cut), Quintana (3 of the most feared and avoided welterweights yet people say Cotto has "no heart".

Now you have guys saying he is going to come in heavier to gain an advantage(which is arguable) like just about 95% of all fighters do. Even Pacquiao comes in over 10 pounds more but again a New "Cotto Rule"!

Its ****** for people to say that Cotto coming in alot heavier is an advantage, Pacquiao is a speed freak, I'm sure Cotto wouldn't do something like that. Just like Hatton who didn't come in that heavy against Mayweather, he knew he needed to be light, had he came in as heavy as he did against Collazo, he would have taken a worse beating.

Did you really just type that Quintana is one of the most feared and avoided welterweights? Oh. my. god.

Cottos weight isnt a big deal. not even PacFans care about it. Most think the weight will be an advantage ...I dont. It has no baring on this fight what so ever.

I don't get the weight thing either Manny use rehydrate up to 18 lbs. Now that Cotto rehydrates the normal 10 lbs theres a problem.

Under Manny's fans knowledge none of his biggest wins in the lower weight should count since he rehydrated so much.

One more thing I have a problem with is they say if cotto weighs close to 160 then he is a middleweight and he should be fighting Pavlik. But on fight night Pavlik probably comes in over 170. Just like last night Danny Jacobs weighed
159 then rehydrated to 175. So how will Cotto be a MW if he weighs close to 160 when MW fight at close to 175 on fight night.

More like avoided. If you know boxing you would know that southpaws are avoided, now combine that with 5'10" welterweight that has a win over Paul Williams and Joel Julio(when they were unbeaten)and is a slick boxer with some power 20 KO's in 26. I would say that fighters are not lining up to fight him.
