Is this another "Cotto special Rules"?
Cotto special Rules
Champions were viewed as Champions even if they fought for a vacant title. I never remember discussions about "Vacant" title fighters. Until Cotto did it.
Many fighters took knees and more quit in ugly fashion under less pressure. But Cotto's team throws in the towel (Margarito)and Cotto is the worst quitter in boxing.
Fighters like Tyson bit ears was known for elbows, Holyfield head butts, Golota low blow like crazy. But They get on Cotto like he is the dirtiest low blow fighter ever..lol
Cotto fights, Margarito, Clottey(with a cut), Quintana (3 of the most feared and avoided welterweights yet people say Cotto has "no heart".
Now you have guys saying he is going to come in heavier to gain an advantage(which is arguable) like just about 95% of all fighters do. Even Pacquiao comes in over 10 pounds more but again a New "Cotto Rule"!
It is true Cotto gets allot of heat for quitting but that's more directed to his fans rather than to Cotto himself. He did lowblow Judah and i hated that as Judah really had a chance of finishing him early (his only chance to win) but it's boxing.

If Cotto had done what Pacquiao did he'd be on his way to Cruiserweight right now. Think Cotto could put a dent in Chad Dawson's armor? Would a catchweight sound so crazy then? Think.

Manny Rehydrated more weight then Cotto does at WW when he fought at LW....It was fair for him to do it to his opponents but not fair for them to do it to him....
Saying Cotto would have to fight a cruiserweight to be on Manny's level is completly ******....Cotto might out weigh Manny by 10 pounds at the most on fight night...I'd put it more at about 7 or 8 pounds...but for arguments sake lets say 10
Chad Dawson comes in at 185 pounds on fight night...at least thats what he weighed against Tarver
So somewhere between 155-157 Cotto....Manny probably 148...on fight night....to you is the same as
155- 157 Cotto ....to a 184 pound Chad Dawson on fight night?
O no wait...you must mean cause Pacman is really a blown 108 pounder...lol
smn...some of you guys need to get a grip on reality.

These guys like pullcounter see only what they want to see....Pac Comes in 16 lbs heavier than the weigh in and no comment...but Cotto comes in 10 or 11 pounds heavier and all hell breaks loose....Special Rules for Cotto...lol

the size advantage is not slight. cotto will have 10+ lbs on pac on fight night. even cotto acknowledges that he is the bigger guy and cotto is counting on his size advantage to win the fight!!!!!
Worried about Cotto's size advantage when AGAIN EVERY BOXER DOES it including Pac who has gained 16 lbs before the fight....I say rules for everybody not just for Cotto.
