Would calzaghe have gotten the decision (vs hopkins)if the judges had instant replay?

no i don't like hopkins...i don't put much stock in the 32 kos at 160...above that, i don't have much respect for natural lightheavys who beat up on middleweights, junior welters and welters and get millions...
at 160 he lost to the best fighter with equal size and talent (jones) and used his size and bullying tactics to beat up a forgettable list of undersized, no name talent in a weak 160 division until big name welterweights moved up...got exposed as a bully imo by Jermaine Taylor when the green as grass Taylor refused to be intimidated by his dirty roughhouse tactics and got a unanimous decision in the rematch when Hopkins refused to go toe-to-toe after guaranteeing a ko on Taylor....Taylor chased him out the 160 lb. division....ducked Roy Jones for years while selling wolf tickets (60-40 I'll kick your ass...lol) hiding behind the ridiculous notion that he should receive an even split in $ when Jones was the Lightheavy and p4p champ.....finally moved up to his natural weight 175 only after Jones got ko'd and Tarver started hanging out with Sylvester Stallone on movie sets and discovered Hollywood...still at Lightheavyweight trying to fight name middleweights at catchweight fights and getting more credit from his nuthugging public than deserved...absolute garbage...still waiting for him to fight somebody his size or bigger with equal talent and beat him....at the same i'm hoping someone like adamek or dawson puts a halt to his overrated career..lolLast edited by djtmal; 08-19-2009, 02:54 PM.

other side of that coin is that Joe is sloppy never lands clean punches and throws weak punches that despite volume do no real damage. I cannot ever remember him scoring even a knockdown in any big fights
had he fought calzaghe the way he fought pavlik, throwing combos all fight, there may have been a different outcome
But I think that the judges should have access to instant replay. That way they can watch this over and over:

Knockout for Calzaghe probably.

lol
hopkins is too defensive to open up on heavy volume punchers like calzaghe...thats why it took him 6 or 7 rounds to throw a punch against taylor both fights...

Firstly, 114-113 is the most you could have scored it for Hopkins and that would be a draw without the flash KD. Secondly, a 1 point win means it's a close fight and not a robbery, the most Calzaghe could have won by is 116-111 which is a 9-3 win on the scorecards.
the same fans who say its a robbery score it 114-113!! surely if its that close its nothing like a robbery
