Would calzaghe have gotten the decision (vs hopkins)if the judges had instant replay?

It's time Hopkins fans let that fight go, Calzaghe was the clear victor in a close but competitive fight. It baffles me how every Hopkins fan conviniently scores it 114-113 for Hopkins and cries robbery at the same time. Firstly, 114-113 is the most you could have scored it for Hopkins and that would be a draw without the flash KD. Secondly, a 1 point win means it's a close fight and not a robbery, the most Calzaghe could have won by is 116-111 which is a 9-3 win on the scorecards.

as a Hopkins fan..that fight was two evenly matched fighters with a very bad style clash that resulted in a very ugly fight that was hard to see who actually WON

please man...every fight hopkins is in is ugly...taylor, winky wright, etc...dude throws a right hand followed by a headbutt every time...a gazillion clinches...holds and hits on the opposite side of the ref...rarely any combos...just 12 rounds of roughhouse tactics...in taylor 1 his fans wanted to say the 4 inch deep gash taylor had on his head was from a punch when it was clear it was from nard's head...pure garbage...

and when there are good judges who can dissect all the garbage and score rounds, he loses on the scorecards every time...thats when he and his nutthuggers love to cry foul....

Any fan that wants pure clean punching thinks Hopkins won the fight and he had Joes down. So no we will never stop saying Hopkins should have won ever. Joe's resume is weak and we can laugh it off now, besides he got the W it seems like Joe's fans are the insecure one here.

other side of that coin is that Joe is sloppy never lands clean punches and throws weak punches that despite volume do no real damage. I cannot ever remember him scoring even a knockdown in any big fights, I remember him going down in his only two real big fights here in the US though.

seems like you dont like hopkins. thats all good but to say he loses everytime makes you sound ******..name me one fight when he ruled as a middleweight before he lost his titles to taylor that you thought he lost?.he completely dominated trinidad and stopped him in the final round, he completely dismantled pavlik for 12 rounds.and no he clearly beat winky in that fight, and im also a fan of winky..and if you think he wins fights with clinching and headbutts thats rediculous..just because you clinch and headbutt well means your going to beat elite fighters?..i do not think so, so that statements dumb also. admit it hopkins is a great technician and a defensive artist with somewhat of a non crowd pleasing style..but the fact of the matter is he is a great boxer, period. also what do you have to say about the 32 of his opponents he has KOed?

yeah but if he's outlanding the solid puncher 10 to 2, he's winning the rounds...how many ko's does sweat pea whitaker have in big fights if you want to use that analogy?...and you do agree that hopkins style of fighting with all the clinching and dirty tactics is not judge friendly...

had he fought calzaghe the way he fought pavlik, throwing combos all fight, there may have been a different outcome, but leave it to hopkins to lose to an equally skilled fighter and complain afterwards...
