Cotto has a good resume, but the way that HBO and Arum has pampered him has held him back in the hunger department.
Win or lose, there's not much more Cotto can prove past 30 anyway. When you're that financially secure it doesn't make much sense to me to keep fighting. That's why I was all for Floyd retiring.

I don't see how fighting Quintana, Judah, Mosely, Margarito, Clottey, Pacquiao is pampered anyway. He was matched tough early on too. Fought Randall Bailey before his 20th fight.

Well he could definitely use the time off. If he takes a 1-2 year retirement like Mayweather I can see Cotto going till his 35 or so, at his A game anyway.

Every top fighter has a decent resume in the beginning. But once they get a name, then we get what we are getting.

If clottey wasnt under tr would he have had the opportunity to fight cotto?

ИATAS206, awesome sig! Lord of the rings was my all time favorite book trilogy and they did a decent job on the movie, though the books were much better imo.
