    I believe this make sense, an idea or proposal for a Diamiond belt is for exceptional fighters or Elite Champions...Anyway this Diamond belt is not for sale or an easy task to take, it's at stake for any fighters who deserves to become one...As we all experience in this popular sports of boxing, there are different levels of boxing champions to consider & we simply called Elite Champions for those who really excel among champions themselves...If other past past governing bodies doesn't discovered or tried it, why not grab it as for a well studied development of ideas & to consider the evolution of finest fighters at this present generation...

      *** that. When you move up in weight at the proper designated weight you get a belt. *** this making up new belts because a money fighter can make a sanctioning fee, if were going to do this, we dont need divisions, which ruins the authenticity of the sport in terms of the word "champion".

        **** that sound like a heap of ****ing crap their are way to many belts out their to begin with. no explantion can make the diamond belt a legit title its a joke and a slap in the face to real boxing fans.

            How does Pacquiao deserve a diamond belt at WW? He's never beat a true WW, and he's fighting a champion who won the championship out of vacancy. At the least he should be fighting the lineal champ to get a diamond belt. I'm sure has an extra high sanctioning fee attached to it.

                I kind of miss the days when Bernard Hopkins was rated #1 P4P before Mayweather and Pacquiao. He didn't duck Jermaine Taylor and he got robbed in those fights. He wasn't the most exciting fighter to some people but he has left no loose ends where fighting all comers is concerned hardly. Sure, there are still some more young guys to tackle, but the point is that he didn't dodge a challenge and didn't fight for made up belts. Mayweather never has fought for made up belts either except for the IBF in the Zab Judah fight.

                  just another reason to over rate manny, make up a belt so he can get his 7 weight classes, he needs to man up and fight at 147, or drop down to 140 and chase all the top fighters to be called the best!!!

                    the diamond belt is garbage.

                    1) pac is not a WW.

                    2) people chase pac, pac doesn't chase other boxers.
