Everybody thinks its a given that Pac will beat Cotto and from what I'm understanding Manny is not taking him to seriously. That could be a big mistake. Cotto is a much better boxer than he gets credit for and yes, by all means he is a true warrrior. I smell upset!

best post up in here!!!! this fight can definitely go either way.....if they go toe-to-toe i give cotto the edge, if manny boxes and sticks and moves in and out pop pop pop, i think manny has the edge...but at some point you know they will definitely exchange punches and thats where manny will feel the power that cotto will bring into the ring.....manny has never been hit as hard as cotto will hit him....it'll be interesting to see how he reacts......manny will need to apply full pressure thru out much like aragarito did to wear cotto down.........can't wait for this fight!!!!

manny was at the last cotto fight and saw 1st hand how tough he is, so i really don't think that he's taking cotto lightly.......nor is freddie roach taking hiim lightly either, as he indicted he's already studying cotto's last fights and is devising a game plan..........the only thing a I smell is a potential great fight...

as you say RIP to Gatti,

you're 100% correct Cotto is no Gatti, however in my mind, I just see a matchup between Cotto & Mayweather to go in very similar fashion, with Mayweather totally teaching Cotto a boxing lesson and Cotto getting increasingly frustrated while not being able to touch Mayweather.....let's hope we get to see it happen, too much boxing politics and money greed, from promotors & tv & the fighters as well.

Its no disrespect to Cotto...I think Cotto is a wonderful fighter, and as you look at his career he took on anyone who called him out, much like Oscar did when he was in his prime.....and he beat them, and has a loss to a guy who potentially had plaster up in his gloves......

again i look forward to seeing all of these guys fight......imagine if they did that tournament in the welter division with guys like: CLOTTEY,MOSLEY,MARGARITO,COTTO,MANNY,BERTO,CINTRON & COLLAZO...that would be dynamite!!!
