I'm afraid that it's looking in all likelihood that Amanda Rodrigues will get away with 'possible' murder and all of Arturo Gatti's money.
The toxicology and 2nd-autopsy reports are due in within 2 weeks. If they're found to show 'specific substances' and as they've already said, secondary injuries...then what? What can the Canadian authorities do?
What actual, physical proof do they have that Amanda was the murderer or had anything to do with it?
Zero.

I don't know what the Brazil-to-Canada extradition laws are, but I'm guessing non-existant. If this is the case she's stays in Brazil.

I'm guessing this was the sequence of events:
1 - Her getting all of Gatti's money first 4-5 weeks ago
2 - Her luring him down Brazil (plus she got there a day before Gatti - why?) for the '2nd honeymoon'
3 - Encouraging him drink excessively on the night, the big argument/fight and altercation with crowd / security-guard.
4 - Then later at the apartment one of three things occurred: she strangled him alone (unlikely); she got one or more guys to overpower & strangle Gatti, then hang the body to make it look a suicide and altered crime-scene (possible); he committed suicide (possible, but the evidence/reports are shady)
5 - Her possibly paying off the cops/coroner
6 - The sad irony being is that 4 and 5 would probably have been done with Gatti's own money.
7 - End of.

So, even if she is found guilty of murder or conpsiring to murder she'll never set foot in the USA or Canada again and never be extradited from Brazil.

I hope it is suicide, cos the above is an unfair, horrible, deceitful, sick scenario...albeit one that could've occurred....but the bottom-line is, whatever money she has from Gatti's estate now, i.e. the $US1 million inheritance in case of death, I'm pretty sure that's hers anyway and she'll soon be be whooping it up in some Rio de Janiero nightclub in her new Manolo Blahnik heels with whoever she's f!cuking.

my old friend moved to Thailand a few years ago & he owned 3 stripclubs.I've spent alot of time with strippers.95% of them have issues.come from broken home,alcoholic families,crime families,etc.they are one step above a hooker that's it & many have drug problems,hook up with criminals & get pregnant & left to raise the child themselves so they never get out of the life because they like the $ & are uneducated.gatti loved booze & strippers.she liked gattis $ & prestigeous lifestyle.he was 37 screwing an attractive 23 year old stripper.he was hooked on her & women beauty is like a drug.how many of you have done something well beyond your normal standards to impress a girl? They did have a kid together & I'm sure things were alright at first but with his money why was she still stripping? This woman could have divorsed him got half his fortune & hefty child support but she is a STRIPPER which means she was poor,uneducated & going no where in life before she met gatti.she probably took care of certain police officers ***ually or promised too ***ually & monetarily compensate certain police officers & coroners.being a stripper in brazil is different than in Canada or the states.they turn tricks not just get naked & give lap dances...personally gatti made poor decisions outside boxing & it cost him his life.my sugestion to all men is to not date strippers or hang out in those clubs.trust me I've spent many a night with strippers outside of their work & it can be fun but I usually did lots of drugs & spent $$$.in the end their lives always revolve around the club.strippers are bad news & do that because they have no respect fir themselves & so how could they respect anyone else.

Yep - that's what it looks like.
I think this is what's so wrong about it all: Gatti's dead (possibly murdered) and the No.1 suspect not only has gotten away wth it....but has all the deceased's money too (the irony being...it may have been used to bribe accomplices and law authorities).

And the clincher? It seems the more information is discovered - that it was all planned and has worked out perfectly.
