nowadays in order to be pound for pound king you have to beat fighters that are already losing like oscar lost 3 of his last 6 fights. or lose a tune up fight like morales..or knock out a fighter that gets K.O.ed by mayweather who is not even a power puncher and that is how you become pound for pound!!

Muhammad ALI who is considered the GOAT by most boxing fans have fought and won TWO GREAT FIGHTS against Frazier, two gruelling loooong fights which ali won by sheer determination, satamina and heart. Considering that the great Joe Frazier have just LOST to Foreman by a second round KO, and happend just a few fights before ali/frazier's first ever fight.
So now with your own argument, do i have to trash those two great ALI/FRAZIER fights that are upto now being shown as two of the all-time- great fights between two of the very best fighers in the world, just because Frazier is already a damage good (by your own analogy of fighters condition) before Ali met him in a match...

I feel cotto is perhaps a little bit past his best. But, cotto at 90% would beat most fighters. Also, this will be mannys first real test at the higher weight. This is not a drained de la hoya or a clue-less ricky hatton. This is a awesome fighting machine - Miguel Cotto. Mannys chin hasn't really been tested at the higher weight yet, but without a doubt cotto will test it. If manny knocks cotto out, he's going down as possibly the greatest ever.

Mosley said after he won against Margarito that he will wait after Pac vs. Hatton. May 2 have past and Cotto Clottey have past and Pac called out Cotto. If SSM called out Pac right after he won over Hatton, it could have been a different story.
