Roach: "Manny Pacquiao is Knocking Miguel Cotto Out"

i don't believe Pac is looking for easy fights. any fight for Pac above 140 is going to test his strength. So far, Roach has been able to spot flaws for Manny to capitalize on. in the case of Cotto, Roach must see enough wear and tear to believe Manny can follow a gameplan to victory. predicting a knockout is bold, but i cannot doubt Manny's ability or Roach's insight. i think the one major factor that goes beyond having the right gameplan, is a fighters will, and this is something both fighters have a lot of.

when it all comes down, Cotto is the bigger man for sure. Cotto has been in tough fights with bigger men. if Manny truly is a phenomenon, we will see it in this match-up, otherwise i will have to take Cotto. there's a gameplan to beat everyone and Cotto has the ability and discipline to follow his own.

The problem is, as of now, nobody is making a gameplan for Cotto. He better have a very good team. He looked not so good against Clottey b.c he didnt have a solid game plan in the first place. He looked lost. Even before the cut he seldomed boxed to the body. Not the usual Cotto. After the cut, they didnt make any adjustment until the 10th. He needed a very good team now.

What do you expect Roach to say that Cotto is knoking Pac out. Of course he's going to say that but deep inside he has huge doubts. I wonder if he''ll want to train Cotto after Coto knocks Manny out.

as far as how Cotto looked against Clottey, i thought he looked good. i rewatched that fight three times. Cotto had Clottey against the ropes and in the corner all while suffering a bad cut. plus he knocked Clottey down, which no one has ever been able to do. off balance? yeah that is generally how someone gets in trouble. good timing by Cotto.

Cotto will try rushing Pac early forgetting his jab and will get clocked by Pac. I think hes going to visit the canvas a couple time and then will fight to survive until the last round. Might get stopped on cut tho.
