There's no way that you will convince me neither the 95% of the boxing fans that Cotto lost against Mosley much less that fantasy theory of your that the ref saved him.
I'll guess that you will continue to be part of the 5% that saw Mosley win!!!!

    PERIOD!!!!!

The funny thing is that that not even Mosley is in that 5%. Thats an honorable man right there; He accepted defeat and went out and proved he wasnt done just yet. Personally I would love a rematch down the road. Might happen after Cotto defeats Pac and Mayweather refuses to fight him. Arum said as much recently.

I have to give credit to Cotto for fighting Mosley, Margarito, and Clottey. And even though I think there's a legitimate argument that he could easily be 0-3 against them he did fight them regardless. But one thing that was missing from Cotto's arsenal in those fights is his body punching. If he can't get to Pacquiao's body, he doesn't stand a chance in this fight.

Cotto should of lost to clottey but got a gift decision, anyways this win will not prove anything for cotto fighting a smaller guy, ummm why doesn't cotto gets critized since he is a welterweight and pac a jr welterweight barely but PBF does agaisnt JMM? isn't cotto a bigger guy than PBF?

Anyways pac will get beat then he will move down to 140 cotto will be huge mediawise but boxingwise beating pac wouldn't prove ****.

WHAT!!!! after watching the fight you would think you would see what happen, if you saw the fight clottey gave cotto the fight, point blank, and if thats not enough you can even download it for your satisfaction

thats what make cotto a warrior. he will fight shane eventhough it will be a difficult fight.
that what makes manny greater. he fought jmm eventhough he knew theres a big chance of lossing.
they are not afraid to loose their zero's and fighting the best.
that's what makes mayweather a chicken for fighting JMM when mosley is very much available

marquez did hit pac but pac was never in trouble.
hatton ko'ed malignaggi before he fought pac. malignaggi lasted 12 rounds with cotto. how come hatton is overrated.

****** move by Cotto re-signing with Top Rank... He could have gone over to GBP and became the new face of that promotional company. He could have had more freedom to choose his opponents and negotiate contracts... But with silly Bob as his boss he is going to have to put up with alot. I feel sorry for him. He is getting screwed in this fight. I'm sure most of you all agree with the 65-35 split but I don't. Cotto is also a huge name in boxing and has a passionate fanbase that get him very good PPV sales. He always sells out the Garden and puts on very good fights. He should have gotten ATLEAST 40. But somehow silly Bob must have made him believe Pacquiao is that much bigger of a draw. If I were Miguel... I would have gone over to GBP. They probably would have given him a ton of money seeing how their fighters are struggling to maintain the image of GBP. I'm pretty sure Schaeffer and DLH would have paid a pretty penny to ensure an investment such as Cotto.

As far as te fight goes.... Cotto wins.... by TKO 5th round... In a surprisingly easy fight.

cotto has the opportunity to be the face of boxing if he beats pac...

and the only way he was getting that chance is by re signing with TR..

Hatton was overrated because of his large fan base. He was a very good but at the same time limited fighter whose flaws could be exposed to deadly effect by an elite fighter. Malignaggi was Cotto's last fight at 140. By then he was already too big for that weight class and was burning through muscle in the days leading up to the weigh-in only to rehydrate on fight night. Hence the flash knockdowns against Torres and the like. Hatton, on the other hand, was made for 140 and had nothing at 147, hence his decision to come back after his controversial win over collazo. Props to Hatton for knocking Malignaggi out but Cotto would have destroyed Hatton at 140. Would have been action packed but Cotto would most likely have won.

most likely he would of also broken hatton's jaw at that time
