Clottey wasn't throwing for a reason...

Cotto started to counter the hell out of him with left hooks...It goes both ways....Cotto became defensive because of the cut from a Head-butt(which most people tend to not mention) and Clottey started being cautious when Cotto began to time him.

Cotto pulled out the victory...however you choose to see it is your prerogative but there's a reason why Cotto got his hand raised at the end of the fight and it wasn't because Clottey wasn't scoring it was because Cotto was.

both became less active after the cut...but i think that clottey could have won that fight...it was definitely a lot closer to me than they scored it...but i don't feel sorry for clottey...he damn near ignored cotto's cut...it took cotto a while to adjust...it wasn't immediate...that was supposed to be clottey's time...but he missed it...cotto seemed to maintain if anything...he did so accordingly...but i sure didn't see him come over the top and beat clottey down...the fight was what/what...i think that if anything...clottey's knockdown should have been the only thing to make the difference...

Cotto is in his prime, he looked bad in his last fight because Clottey is a beast of a fighter.

Clottey is too PASSIVE to be a beast...plus he can't punch for ****.

It's money in the bag. That's what you call a smart move by Pacquiao and using Cotto as a tune up fight for a big money bout with Floyd.

Cotto and Floyd fight nothing alike...

Shane would have been a better choice to get Fanny Pac ready for Floyd.

I dont think people should blindly follow what the Ring publishes, I mean there rankings are the closest to the people's rankings but aside from that its all opinions.

I dont think Cotto's past it and I only think the Margarito fight made him more cautious, because he simply doesnt know if he could get punched that hard by anyone else or if he did have loaded gloves. However Cotto seems fearless and if he keeps on fighting this caliber of opponents I can see him retiring within the next 5 years.

One fighter I can think of that faced the best was DLH and he shouldve probably retired two years ago. I hope Cotto does the right thing

This is also why Golden Boy owning the RING ****ZINE isn't a good thing.

They can publish this sort of **** and people will take it as fact and they can also use the ****zine to promote their own fighters and put down fighters from other stables.
