well paul doesnt need too much time or room to set up his punches. He will make mosley pay a price that margarito couldnt make him when shane wants to tie up.

Good move by Mosley. He should just try and clean out the rest of the division. I hope he fights Berto so he can whoop his @ss.

Ndou record was 31-1 with 30 KO's and was labeled the "Knockout
Specialist" & Floyd fought offensively the whole fight and stop Ndou
who was naturally bigger than Mayweather. Cotto is not bigger than
Mayweather. Anything can happen on fight night but I would bet on
        Floyd when/If that fight happens.
Greats posts. I'd like your opinion if Floyd is slipping. The form, both in offense and defense, that he showed in the lower weights is enough to blow both pac and cotto ( both my faves ) away. But in his last 2 fights, he rarely let his hands go. Electing to potshot and do combo's only when it is available. What I mean by slipping is slipping mentally that he is no longer the finisher in the lower weights. Mostly, I'm attributing it to a safety first approach in the higher weights as he is wary of the power of the heavier guys. But I find this contradictory in the early rounds of the Hatton fight in which he is the bigger guy than Hatton. I thought he would revert back to his lower weight performances so I was slightly disappointed.

Cotto is not as durable in his prime as Jose Luis Castillo was in his.
Castillo got in Floyd around the 2nd half but in the rematch it wasn't close
and in that fight Castillo weighed 147 in a Lightweight fight and Floyd
weighed 138. Castillo/Mayweather 1 was close but Cotto is not that
imposing as Castillo was, in my opinion.

Most of that I agree with except for floyd's chin! Like u said he's never been in trouble so how do u know? I've always thought the key to beating Floyd was to rough him up and I think cotto would do that! I'm not saying cotto would win but I can't believe that it would be an easy night!
I find it funny that most people on here think that forcing yourself on Floyd would bother him... If anything it makes him more comfortable. The man is just wicked guys... I can't even REALLY begin to imagine what a pro boxer would try and do to tame Floyd.... WITHOUT GETTING DISMANTLED BY RIGHT HANDS. Cotto can't do ANYTHING that would make Floyd uncomfortable... It would start off with Cotto coming in and moving competitively with Floyd and Floyd timing him and reading him... by rounds 6 and 7 Floyd would come out of his shell and it would turn into Gatti all over again.... except Cotto's chin is not even made of the same kind of material as Gatti's

Even in the fight with Oscar, he won by only one point and oscar was never busy enough and and at the end of the night Oscar barely had a scratch on him! I know that fight was at 54 but the point I'm making is that he may have speed but without power, cotto will walk right thru him or Floyd is gonna win on points in a fight that he'll have to run so much that it will steal away from the excitement of wanting to see him in the ring again! And at this point in his career it's so important for him to stay marketable that he's still fighting lighter fighters and avoiding guys at 147. I just don't see Floyd winning impressively or easily against and beltholder at 147 and not cotto cuz like u said he comes to fight and he won't let Floyd coast for 12 rounds, he is gonna make him fight

Co-sign. The fact remains Mayweather lovers have no idea how he would respond to guy his own size at 147. Period. Talk all you want but nobody has any idea because we have never seen it. People love to discredit Pac for beating on an old DLH but Mayweather didnt look so hot in his fight with him. Yes he wasnt dehydrated but that wasnt DLH's problem. Like Roach said, and DLH himself confirmed, old DLH just couldt pull the trigger anymore. All this debate will go away when Mayweather fights somebody his own size. Hasnt happened yet and unless he is strapped for money I doubt we will ever see it. He loves his 0 way too much. Unfortunately Boxing Historians know something that Money doesnt: undefeated doesnt equal GOAT. If anything it implies you never really challenged yourself at some point. One word: Bruseles. Im not hating. I would just love to see Mayweather prove he can keep a strong guy off him. If he wins Ill give him all the respect in the world.

All pure speculation. No facts in your post. Sorry. No idea if his right hands would dismantle a large and strong boxer. Not saying they wouldnt; just that nobody knows. Wonder why?

And Mosley can make Paul pay dearly if he lets himself get hit too much, and unlike Winky whom relies on his defense to discourage his opponents, Mosley will use movement, speed and POWER to beat Williams.

Carlos Baldomir out weighed Mayweather by 13lbs (162 to 149 pounds)
and at 147 was taller than Floyd. Floyd moved up to 154 and fought
Oscar De La Hoya weighing 148 when Oscar weighed 160. Floyd has
been fighting bigger guys along with medium and short fighters/boxers
throughout his whole career, so what does size have to do with it?
Cotto is not even bigger than Floyd and his reach is shorter.
