[QUOTEvenerablefist;5606555]why do you call ali feather fisted when he clearly was not he knockout some fighter and had more than enough to keep his opponents off of him ,feather fisted is calderno and Malignaggi[/QUOTE]

Ali must be feather fisted. All he did was Ko Liston, Foreman, Shavers etc.

        Pure BS.

This cat [OP] clearly doesnt know boxing. Valuev v Ali

LL and Klits are ok, LL is a ATG, but slow, mechanical fighters arent testing the speed and finese of Ali (who at 6'3, 220 odd wasnt small), and anyone who thinks these guys are beating Holmes, Liston etc is dillusional.

          EXTREMELY delusional.

It's not BS. Because you are taking SINGLE fights to prove your point. I take the whole career to prove my point.

Even the greatest bums have usually a KO win against somenody else. Even chinachin'ed bum Larry McFadden (1 win, 34 losses, 29 losses by KO) has KOed someone. You HAVE TO check the whole record. Single fights matter too little.

Rather see it this way: If a featherfist like Ali could KO Liston then this shows you either 1) how overrated Liston was 2) or that he _DID_ make a dive against Ali because Liston feared retaliation from Ali's friends from the Nation of Islam. Islamic terrorism is a serious matter.

Please also note the de****able behavior of Ali when Liston lies on the floor. Ali simply cannot stop trashtalking. Ali is such a disgusting boxer. Can you imagine Foreman trashtalking over the head of Frazier? Or can you imagine Wlad trashtalking over the head of Byrd?

Of course you do, because Conn is a (sub-)cruiser. As is Walcott and Pastor. What's next? Complaining that Lennox was slower than RJJ?

As opposed to Ali Wladimir DOES stand toe to toe.

The first post of this thread doesn't mention "prime ali vs prime valuev". It only mentions "Ali vs Valuev". Big difference. 1) We don't know what prime Valuev looks like and 2) Ali vs Valuev is something like "Typical Ali vs Normal Valuev" or "Out of 10 fights Valuev wins 8 times". Big difference.

No, I wasn't. Reread the thread.

That output is nothing spectacular. Especially since there's a lot of clinching going on and a lot of misses. That the fight reached the 12th round is already a failure. No wonder that Ali has such a low KOratio: He clowns around in the first 10 rounds and then starts some action in the 12th. Moreover I would not have to look for a heavyweight fight but for a cruiser fight to compare Ali vs Norton. Someone like Norton doesn't fight as a heavy nowadays.

What is Patterson doing in that list? He was a (sub-)cruiser. What is Norton doing there - How many world titles did he win? How can you put these guys in a heavyweight toplist before Vitali Klitschko?
