Am I not? Did I resort to childish sarcastic comments anywhere in any post?

      MAYBE Calzaghe?

There will be excuses if Pacquiao wins, even at 147 he'd be accused of beating "Miguel Shotto" (there ya go, I invented a new one just for the occasion) or "was never the same after Margarito". You can guarantee it.
Pacquiao can make Cotto look hesitant and befuddled, but he's not gonna make him look sluggish and lethargic.

Of course, pretty much everyone will look slow in comparison to Pacquiao, but it's not in comparison to him, it's them. Neither Diaz or Hatton looked sluggish or lethargic in their Pacquiao fights.

Diaz looked extremely slow, but he's always slow and he had some snap on his punches early when he actually got off. Margarito is very slow too, but you could tell he was a bit weight drained against Mosley (don't get butt hurt Mosley fans, I'm not trying to discredit the win).

"Miguel Shotto" is a good one.

Can I ask one more thing...

If 145lbs wont effect Cotto at all....

Why are they making him fight at 145lbs?

Why not LET the WW champion fight at WW... and if YOU decide you want to be LIGHTER... well then go ahead.

So the issue is whether or not Cotto can get back down to 146? Because that is another issue and has nothing to do with the contracted weight.

You can't blame Pacquiao for Miguel Cotto's training habits. And if he made 146 before, the argument that he'll lose because he has to make 145 this time.. well, thats just straight up not argument.

It won't effect his performance because the extra pound isn't too dramatic. But any leverage they can get which limits Cotto's weight on the night of the fight is an advantage. They want to limit him from having too much weight behind his punches.

And if he can make 145... he can make 144... and if he can make 144 then why not 143?

No one blaming Pacman for Cottos training habits.

To say that FURTHER weight drain will not effect Cotto WHATSOEVER cant possibly be accurate...

                      Personally, I don't care if it's at 147.

I think it's a matter of principle more then anything being that pac is at 140 and cotto is at 147, it's a way of negotiating and meeting in the middle so to speak because they know Cotto will weigh around 160 pounds regardless if it's at 145 or 147.

Personally I think the issue of a couple pounds is made way bigger of a deal on this site then it really matters. Time and time again the weight issue has been disproved and yet still people bring it up.
