None of those fights are legacy fights. The only legacy fights for him are Cotto, Mayweather, and Pac man

You're mixing up money with legacy. Clottey is the #3 rated Welterweight, Berto is the #4, and Williams would almost certainly be reinstated at #2 by The Ring if he returned to Welterweight. For the #1 contender to fight the top contenders in his own division is a legacy fight by any definition of the term; and all three fighters are top contenders, whether you like it or not. Cotto, Mayweather and Pacquiao are not available this year. For him to sit on the sidelines twiddling his thumbs for an entire year at his age, when three of the top five fighters in his division are all available, is just ******.

There is no question who is the best WW at this moment. Cotto won unanimous decision against Mosley. The only fight lost by Cotto could be questionable because Margacheata was caught before she can repeat same action against Mosley. Sometimes trainers do not pay attention to the rivals of their own, that’s why Margacheata fought with a cast on his fist and hurt badly Cotto. Cotto is a gentlemen in the ring and he has proved many times. When Cotto was down, Margacheata hit him when he had his knee down, that mean if Cotto would want to play like he was hurt and act like he was knocked out, that victory would go to Cotto for disqualification. Like I said before, there is no question Cotto is a warrior and a gentlemen at the same time. He fought with one eye, NY Boxing Commission did not do the job by exposing Cotto to a severe injury, but you know what Cotto completed the fight against Clottey and won by split decision, which I believe should be by unanimous decision. It baffles me to no end why the Cotto fans claim that Cotto beat Mosley all that convincingly. Mosley had the edge in power punch connects and won all the championship rounds based on aggressiveness and good shots landed. The only late round that I scored for Cotto was the 11th. That aside, I don't really care about a fight between Cotto and Pacquiao because it does nothing for division clarity. I don't mind if Pacquiao fights Cotto. But he should give Mosley that same shot if he gets past Cotto so it won't look like he just went after Cotto, because he viewed him as the more vulnerable fighter. In the mean time Mosley should fight Paul Williams because the longer Mosley stays inactive, the more incentive it will give Cotto and Pacquiao to avoid him.
