Let us not make the weight as an excuse, their team has their dietary expert to protect the boxer...What ever the outcome after every preparation it's not a good excuse to discredit the performance of the opposing team cause it's part of the overall preparation...Likewise to accept an offer agreed at a specific catch weight was already well studied & carefully understood by each team, so in that case no room for excuses could we expect & what ever failures in preparation may arise along the way their respective team will be accountable for that...

Mosley will beat Pacquio regardless of the weight

In all fairness, since Pacman is at 140 and Shane is at 147, they should meet at 143.5 pds. that is the middle mark between the weight classes. Shane can get to 143.5 with no problem and he will be able to recover in 24 hours to beat that ass!! Pacman knows that he cannot beat Shane Mosley and I believe Freddie Roach knows that Pacman cant beat Shane Mosley at this point in time. Freddie Roach is no dummie. The fights that should be made are Pacman vs Marquez 3 at 135pds. and Floyd Mayweather vs Shane Mosley at 147pds.

How can you defend Pacquiao here? The man is clearly stating he can't fight a 147 fighter unless he drains them excessively. Is that not a ***** move? Why not just say I'm not fighting above 140?

You have to remember its Mosley who wants Pacman. He calls the shots no matter how much in favor they may be for his own personal benefit.

He doesnt always fight drained fighters. He fought Hatton at Hattons true weight.
