And another one :
"David has had a backache for two to three weeks. It hadn't stopped him training but he was just complaining about it sometimes.
"A couple of days ago the symptoms were more of a concern and he couldn't do certain sessions that were important, so we sent him off to have a scan and it showed a condition that needs some aggressive physiotherapy and then rest for about two weeks.
"He has had to have some strong painkillers and these have to take effect before the treatment begins.
"When we knew he wasn't going to fight, we told the Klitschko camp immediately. The consultant has told us that realistically there will be a three-week delay. David will be ready to step into the ring on July 11.
"I'm working on David getting back in the gym. David's message to the fans is that he is absolutely gutted and wants to give them what they want, which is a world heavyweight champion from England."Last edited by Dave Rado; 06-04-2009, 03:19 PM.

Haha this is hilarious. Haye spends months chasing the Klitschkos for a fight, they spend as many months trying to avoid it by putting ridiculous conditions on the fight, Haye gets injured and now he's ducking? Wow. Vitali Klitschko retired four times rather than fight "Sugar" Hasim Rahman and you know full well that if Haye were to win against Wlad (an unlikely scenario, but obviously enough of a worry to the Klitschkos to plan for)that both Klits would go out of their way to tie Haye up in their contracts and if Haye were to beat Wlad twice then Vitali would retire four times again!

Taking like 99% of the revenue split just to try and price himself out of a fight and not to mention locking Haye up for 3 fights ONLY AND ONLY IF haye beats him is making things pretty clear to everyone(other than the klit nut-lickers) that wlad is scared.
so if wlad would pull out of a bout like this and everyone would be flaming him, it would be for good reason. While no one really can say anything about Haye pulling out cuz this fight is Haye's dream, something he has been waiting for every since he was an amateur.
