Joshua Clottey is Ready For Any Version of Miguel Cotto

This is going to be such a great fight. I truly cannot wait for this one. This has been one of the most anticipated fights for me for the last couple of years. I believe that Clottey can edge it out but it's a real pick 'em fight this one.

I hope Clottey wins it though, as I would love to see him get some recognition and earn some big $ after the amount of promoters that overlooked him because f the risk/reward factor. Such a great fighter for so long that was never given the opportunities after he beat the crap out of Baldomir but was screwed.

Whatever happens, this will be a great one!

the chater thing isnt the point. the power behind his punches is wats at question. i just think its bit rediculous to think cotto cant knock clottey out to the body, when hes proven to have great body punches, and superb power as well

Quitto couldn't touch Tony to the body all night and like I said previously Margarito's defense is sub par and yet he blocked his body well. Clottey's defense is one of the best in the game, he barely gets tagged and he is rugged specially to the body as he displayed against Margarito and that was all Tony could really hit and hit him pretty well. What about his power? you honestly think he had been altering his wraps for 13+ years? c'mon man use common sense, if he had been cheating all along he would of gotten caught sooner, as far as the Quitto fight Tony was cleared from tampering his wraps by the Nevada commissioner, so as far as that goes he is innocent.

This is exactly the same scenario when Cotto faced Margacheato. First, Marg wasn't that well known, not a star, but everyone knew that he was a tough and dangerous fighter, he wasn't a mandatory challenger so Cotto didn't need to fight him and take the risk. Second, Marg was also a champ and it was supposed to be an unification bout, what happened? Marg had to vacate his title so he could fight Cotto. Third, Cotto was already in talks for a possible superfight against Oscar(he said several times that he was considering Cotto) so what happened? Cotto got his first loss and with it, his big payday with Oscar. Then Oscar chose Pac and u all know the story. If you notice, is exactly the same scenario, Clottey is known for being a tough fighter but not a star, he had to vacate his title and Cotto is already being considered for superfight against Pacquiao for a good payday which he'll not get if defeated. I'm sure Cotto will be ready for 12 rounds he knows he cant afford to lose this one. Cotto have the power and skills to prevent history to repeat. Lets go bro!!!!

Tony has never really been known for his power, I think he's got above average power but he is not a KO machine, he wears you down and breaks you. He's an accumulation puncher, I think Quitto is more of an effective power puncher, meaning he lands more accurately and posses more speed, I think both of them have about the same power, Quitto with a little more edge.

As far as a cheater go, all I can say is that he was caught attempting to cheat against Mosley and that's that, I give him the benefit of a doubt and believe he honestly didn't know, but again that's just my opinion, his haters whoever will beg to differ, so believe whatever you want, only Tony and Capetillo know the truth to this.

Why are you mentioning Margacheato? No one cares about that piece of ****. Cotto will win a ud over Clottey and I hope he never gives margaplaster another paycheck. Cotto was the only fighter with enough balls to fight that overrated piece of **** and the man cheated....WTF?!?!?!?!?
