to be fair though.. that is Erik Morales, MAB and Marquez he was fighting.
Those are household names in the latin community.
then again, Manny Pacquiao after all the wars with Mexicans is now too.

doesn't really matter because at the end of the day, what is the biggest possible PPV even that can be made today in any sport? Mayweather vs Pacquiao.

When a lot of people are barely getting by, what makes anyone think they'll have extra cash for a 50 dollar PPV.

Because like the HBO boss said in there analysis people get together and share the payment in between themselves.

It has been suggested that PPV events hasnt been affected by the "Recession"..

So again the arguement about Pacquiao being a foreign fighter doesnt come into it because he gets to tap into 2 different markets which is the filipino based in American market and the american market itself.
that's the dumbest f'n thing I've heard today..
you don't get two tap into two markets if you don't relate or
can't speak to the people of the country you are trying to sell to.
that's why Manny Pacquiao has that handy cap.
Mayweather doesn't. He is part of our culture, one of our own and speaks our language.
It's pretty ******ed to say that it doesn't effect the PPV buys.

Yep, and I mean the Filipino population in america is such a tiny percentage anyways. Floyd being American is a big advantage.

But like I said, regardless it's the biggest fight possible if they fight eachother so just make the fight happen. Who cares about arguing who should get the bigger split?? Are we their promoters? Will we see a cut? Nope, then stfu

I wanna see Pacquiao Marquez III.. Pacquiao shouldn't be fighting cowards who are afraid to take on men their own size.

You dont get to tap into two markets??? Well the man is from the phillipines and am pretty sure his community would buy is fights no matter who he fights.

American would also buy is fights because they wanted to see explosive fight and pacqiuao provide that, There is a reason why people like Top rank alway go after a certain type of fighters when signing one.

Top rank likes to sign Latin/mexican or fighters with a strong american community.

if Floyd vs Marquez does more ppvs than Pacquiao vs Marquez then we all know who the bigger draw is and who will have the upper hand in negotiations IF Floyd beat Marquez..who is a live underdog and can upset
50/50 or go back to retirement!!! I"m ****ing sick of this ****.

                      Nothing funny about it.
