What is this supposed to prove? The guy says one true thing in the entire thing, and he's over exaggerating on that point. It's really not that good of an analysis at all.

He makes some great points in the video but I also believe Cotto has the ability to adjust in fights more than Oscar could at this point in his career and much more than Hatton ever could. Miguel is also very quick and has exceptional timing and tenacity. Also anyone who can take Mosley's punches for 12 rounds and a brick fisted Margarito for 11 is a tough SOB. To me this is a very evenly matched fight, more than what most people think because I do think Cotto has the ability to hurt Pac like no one else has up to this point. Man I'm ready to watch this already.. Hopefully Miguel can get by a tough Clottey to make this happen.

Cotto is going to beat the crap out of Pacquiao if they fight. Just to strong and a better all around boxer than manny.

I see Cotto winning by KO in the 8 round.

the question this thread asks is "Does Anyone Honestly Believe that Pacquiao Can Beat Cotto?"

the answer is: Yes, pac CAN beat cotto. The guy from gambler's advisory plays out one scenario where pac CAN win.

Will pac win? No one knows until they get in the ring.

Everyone who doubt pac's chances need to watch this video again.

As long as they impose a ridiculous enough catchweight on Cotto, he has more than a chance.

Remeber Cotto's chin right before moving upwhen he was dehydrating to make weight?

            Remember Corley and Torres?

Pacquiao’s own promoter Bob Arum said recently that he’d like to have Pacquiao fight either Cotto or Edwin Valero next in a large stadium that can fit 100,000. Besides the obvious question of where and how would Pacquiao be able sell out such a large stadium, how would Pacquiao even compete with a talented welterweight like Cotto.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Pacquiao is good against certain hand-picked opponents, like the 36-year-old Oscar De La Hoya and the tired Ricky Hatton, but against a real top welterweight like Cotto, you can forget it. Pacquiao will lose and lose badly.

Freddie Roach can set up any kind of bizarre weight requirements that he wants for Cotto to come in at, it won’t change a thing in this fight. Cotto will go, start pounding Pacquiao in the body, and quickly take him out in the first few rounds.

I don’t know if Arum is serious about wanting Pacquiao to fight Cotto or not, because he may be just using him as a way to ensure that Mayweather doesn’t ask for too big of a slice of the revenue pie. But if Arum is serious, it will be a huge mistake for him because Cotto will wipe the deck with Pacquiao, and I’m not the only that thinks this. If you ask 1000 unbiased boxing fans, I bet you’ll find the vast majority of them picking Cotto to knock Pacquiao.

I think Pacquiao is a great little fighter, but he’s benefited from some easy opponents in the past four years and hasn’t changed much as a fighter from the one that was easily defeated by Erik Morales in 2005. How anyone can think that a fighter like Pacquiao who was soundly beaten by an in shape, semi prime Morales in 2005 can beat a fighter like Cotto is beyond me.

Cotto is bigger, stronger, and the much better boxer than Pacquiao. Cotto can do it all – fight from the outside or inside, whereas Pacquiao is just a hit and run type fighter.

In the end, I think Pacquiao won’t want to fight Cotto, because he probably knows how dangerous Miguel is and what he would have in store for him if he chose to fight him. I wish Pacquiao’s fans weren’t so enthusiastic about wanting him to fight all these talented opponents like Cotto, because they’re really not helping Pacquiao.

What they need to do is find easy fights for him so that he can continue with what he’s been doing. Maybe lure Ricky Hatton into a rematch or maybe David Diaz - that would be really helping Pacquiao, but not by encouraging him to fight a dangerous puncher like Cotto.

i cosign this article 100%. pacquiao is amazing. but cotto is just too much for him to handle.
OK Cotto is good but my Gosh Pacquiao is so much quicker. He counters well and say what you want but Cotto coming down in weight is going to have some sort of effect on him and not for the better. Regardless how much he re hydrates it takes some toll on the fighter we see it time and time again. IMO Cotto would last longer than Hatton did for sure maybe 7th, 8th round maybe the distance but either way its gonna be a good ass fight!!!!

Nope. WW's should fight WW's. Arum is a fool if Cotto beats Clottey and he pushes this fight.

Manny is superior to Margacheato in every way. I bet you Manny even punches harder then Margacheato. Manny is definitely faster then Margacheato and gives better movements then Margacheato. I know Margarito probably cheated against Cotto to beat him, but I don't think Margarito is all that great with or without plaster he leaves himself open to get countered. Hell, Margacheato is asking Freddie Roach to be his trainer awhile back after getting caught with Plaster.
