FF's a shot version of Ike outboxed Vernon Forrest, and I think even that version would have beat Cotto up.
The one thing about Cotto is that his timing is very underrated; those punches will slip. He will go to the body and I just think he'd break him down and finish him off. I'm not comparing their chins, I just think if Cotto lands the blows that he did on Margs against Quartey, that Quartey will be seeing stars; that's all

Cotto is a boxer/grinder and I just think he may be too much for Quartey, especially on the inside.

You do realize that he was robbed against Oscar and Vernon.

Well Im not so sure I thought Oscar squeezed it out and nearly had Ike out of there it was a close fight not a robbery either way it went , gotta say I cant remember the Forrest fight at all , over all I just dont think Ike performed to his potential in the big ones on his resume , all the guys he was knocking over were a step below the top shelf ,,, good fighter though no doubt .

He wasn't robbed, it could have gone either way and in that match it went Oscars. But that happens time-to-time; see Oscar/Tito and Oscar/SSM 2

The only fight under 160 that I believe Ike lost was to Vargas, and that was because of being away from the ring for so damn long, and that fight was very close. The only time he was dominated was when he fought Winky Wright, and he had no business in a ring let alone fighting at 160 at that point. He was shot.

It was a robbery. You guys need to stop looking into the 12th round. Other than that round Ike dominated the fight.

Winky should not be at 160 either so that kinda levels out the 160 bit , I liked Ike as well just think Cotto would take him , Cotto is underestimated as a skilled boxer its not easy to outbox Mosley and Cotto did , Ike had a beautiful jab didnt he .

Yep. I gave Oscar....maybe the 3rd round. And not another one till like the 10th or 11th.

Oscar did NOTHING in that fight until the end.

I think it's overrated as a fight too. Before I saw the fight friends would tell me "ohh DLH/Quartey is DLH's best fight" so I made it a point to watch it and was disappoitned.

Aside from the 6th(I think) where they knock each other down, and the 12, it was boring. Every round was the same....Oscar doing nothing, Ike pumping the jab. Oscar would throw a meaningless flurry, Ike would throw a right or two.
