It's very obvious to see how Manny has changed his fight game. There's no doubt Freddie studied Floyd's fights to tweak Manny's style.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

To Manny's credit, he's been able to implement all that he's learned quite successfully.

Floyd would be flattered to know they've been studying his moves to improve they're fight game.
many fighters have done this...cotto has done this too. clottey has too...many other fighters try to fight like floyd, but fail in comparison...manny is no different...oscar de la hoya did it too, and shane mosley tried to and it failed...there's only 1 floyd mayweather jr...the truth in that ring...manny will find out and be humbled...

That's the highest form of flattery, when others want to imitate your skills.

Of course, they won't outright steal your every move.

Then they risk being called copycats.

Why I don't understand is, if Floyd is such a fraud like a few claim he is,

Why did Manny fight fighters Floyd already beat?

Was it to prove they could be beaten quicker and in less rounds?

Why didn't Manny fight them first, before Floyd got to them?

I expect some straight answers, but please don't resort to kiddie comebacks.
OK, since nobody cared to answer your idiotic questions.

When Floyd fought Oscar at junior middleweight, Floyd was a full-fledged welterweight. There was no bigger fight that could be made by either Floyd or de la Hoya. There was NO public clamor for Hatton vs Pac or de la Hoya vs Pac at the time. At that time, Manny was busy fighting Hall-of-Famers in Morales, Marquez and Barrera at 130. Why would Manny fight Hatton and de la Hoya when they are too far away from his weight class and there was no reason for him to fight them. Do you mean Hatton was a greater fighter than MAB, Morales or Marquez? The reason de la Hoya-Pacquiao happened was because Pac created quite a buzz after his demolition of David Diaz in his first fight at 135 and Oscar was looking for a high profile opponent he could beat for his farewell fight who would generate him a lot of moolah and no one else fit the bill perfectly aside from Pac. Oscar called out Pacquiao, not the other way around. Hatton also called out Pacquiao.

And by the way, don't call Oscar and Hatton Floyd's leftovers because Floyd won over Oscar via a split decision, and i've watched the fight many times and being objective in the scoring, there was no way Floyd won 7 rounds in that fight. Compare Floyd's and Oscar's faces after the fight and tell me who won that fight, LOL. As for Floyd vs Hatton, i think the turnbuckle did more damage to Hatton that Floyd's fists did. I think you're overestimating Floyd's power at welterweight, LOL! Check left hook, LOL. At what other time in Floyd's career had Floyd shown that to be such a powerful punch? Answer, NONE. LOL.

I'd like to hear from you.

Well Beard and Hatton is a perfect example of sportsmanship, and the MAYWEATHERS don't understand the meaning of sportsmanship. With that said, MY PREDICTION..Floyd JR. likes to counter with left hook followed by a straight right, MANNY PACQUIAO times it perfectly sidestep to the left while fainting with his right jab followed with a perfect left hook that KNOCKS THE **** OUT OF MAYWEATHER...I predicted to people in my gym that PACQUIAO is going to knock Hatton out with the left hook, but the only difference is in the third round with Ricky gettin blinded with the blood from his cut that he didn't see the punch. In reality, no cut was needed for Hatton not to see the left hook. PACQUIAO needs to jab constantly at FLOYD jr left shoulders, to get him to open up a little.

Good follow-up. At that time, even the great Pac Hater TE TUMBO acknowledged the fight was a mismatch due to the great size disparity, but just the same put all his support behind de la Hoya because according to him nothing would give him more pleasure than to see de la Hoya beat Pacquiao to a pulp. LOL !

To even suggest Manny tried to imitate Floyd's fighting technique, is quite moronic at the very least. You look at Manny's and Floyd's style and they are like night and day. You might as well say Manny is trying to imitate Ivan Calderon's style, LOL !!!

I dont get the idea of people not wanting to open their eyes on reality. They keep on insisting that Hatton didn't follow the plan, Dela Hoya is too old, Diaz is no good, Barrera and Morales was way past their best years and Marquez won over Pacquiao etc. etc. Are you blind? Pacquiao is annihilating his opponent because it is the Pacman Era of Greatness...

Nobody can beat Pacquiao in the ring right now. We are talking of right now, not yesterday not two years ago, but right now...

Everybody can claim that their the P4P king, maybe, even Hagler, Leonard and Hearns can claim it. But not now. We all know who's the P4P King right now, His Awesomeness, Manny Pacquiao.

Gayweather Jr. and Mama-Marquez fighting for "numero uno"? Dream on. In afterthought, maybe their fighting for numero uno, as the most boring fighter in the world.
