    nobody seems to question floyd sr. as to why he was using orthodox stance when working the pads with ricky instead of the southpaw stance that his opponent uses.

    the only other person other than me to notice this was johhny nelson in the sky sports analysis of the fight.


    for people to even think floyd sr is a great trainer boggles me.

        I may be wrong, but trainers don't necessarily have to be in any stance when working the pads with their fighters.

        That's what the sparring partners are for.

        And who's to say he wasn't changing stances?

        The 24/7 shows don't cover every single training session.

        As far as Sr. being a great trainer, he raised and built the foundation of the best P4P fighter today.
