ok I'll bite break it down
Who are considered Floyd's best wins?
Castillo
Corralles
Hatton
Chavez
Hernandez
De La Hoya
Oscar would clown all those guys man; Corrales is the most legitimate threat and we were to take their best weight classes, like Oscar at WW; I don't think Corralles (RIP) belongs in the same ring with him. We can agree to disagree, but nobody on Floyd's resume I would deem a threat to Oscar, whether prime or nearing EoP. Sure the version that climbed into the ring with PacMan was a sad display of his previous versions, but prior to that, I don't know how anybody can argue any of the above mentioned folks scare Oscar much

in a p4p sense he would have styles issues with both Corrales and Castillo. Chico (especially if trained by Goossen) would give Oscar issues because he would be as tall as Oscar and be able to hurt Oscar with both hands. He would also be willing to wage war on Oscar and the only guy I have seen willing to wage a war on him was Ike, Ike gave him hell.
Castillo would find a way into Oscar's frame and aside from JCC may be the best in fighter I have seen. Oscar isn't nearly as mobile as say the 135lb version of Floyd so it's not like Oscar wouldn't be there to hit so what's to say JLC doesn't grind on Oscar's frame? It's not like Oscar has been known to keep his stamina correct? It's not like he would be facing the ghost of JCC in there correct? He would be facing a prime 135lb version of JLC that was a hard out for anyone.

based on?Originally posted by Eaner0919 View PostI think you may have not watched enough Chico to understand that not only does he have enough top tier wins (Casamayor, Castillo, Freitas) but is also a three time two division champion. He also has enough second tier wins (guys like Gainer Manfredy Garcia etc) for me to say he is a lock be in the hall. Maybe not first tier but he will be close
cmon do you even know these guys bodies of work?
Casamayor
Corrales
Johnston
all good solid wins against champs or upper tier guys
two time lightweight champion of the world
and he has enough second tier wins (Bazan, Lazacano (a slept on war), Julio Diaz, Reyes) IMO to make this a lock. Again like Chico he may not be first ballot BUT they he is in for sure.
also in comparison to some of the others who are in its clear both of these guys deserve to be in the hall
are top tier guys but i dont actually. I think they are very good fighers but not top tier guys. Its all a matter of opinion though and we will just have to wait for a few years to see who is right

I admit Corrales would present a threat, but nothing that Oscar couldn't handle. He has/had a great jab to keep Corrales at bay. I just don't think none of those guys can do much damage to him. He's fought bigger, stronger and better competition.
