i used to like floyd so much more when he started of. he used to move a lot more and not rely on his shoulder roll. he used put his punches together beutifully. what ever happened to that floyd. he looked much better back then.

True, but would it hurt to bring back the Jab and throw combos off that?
Somebody should ask him these questions.
Take Hatton for example: Instead of holding him off with the jab and combos behind it...with some movement from his feet...he allowed Hatton to come in with little threat. Was that an honest approach to allow Hatton to wear himself out or was that him forgetting to use his JAB and feet?

well, as what some have mentioned, perhaps he's protecting his hands...it might be more subconscious as far him being more economical with his output
