hahaha I was thinking the same damn thing!

Anyway Hopkins would whoop Froch's ass..... BADLY. You think Hop made Joe Calzaghe look like an amature f**king average ******.... think of what he would do to Froch.

I need some help from anyone....
In what way did Hopkins look boring in his last fight at the age of 44?

Thank god for Haye and bringing a heart beat back into to the HW's... I hope he wins just for a change.....

Exactly what I thought. Clever indeed.

I think this could make Froch really seek out a deal tbh, he'd hate to be saying one minute he'd entertain the idea, then be seen to back out of beating up the old man Calzaghe only just did. He'd look a right pleb.

Wheras Froch wants to face him the first oppurtunity he got, as his second title defence.

You really haven't got a clue have you mate

are you ****ing kid of me?

an offer was on the table in summer 2002 from warren to hopkins. hopkins accepted, 24 hours later hopkins doubled his demands and the deal fell through.

was anything signed? Were any contracts written up and offered to hopkins? Or was it a verbal agreement to fight?

To be honest the way Froch fights, he could win or lose against any of the top guys including Hopkins, Kessler, Pavlik or Bute. So why not take on the fight against Hopkins, there's a good chance he could win the fight and even if he loses he won't look as bad as Pavlik did.

by the way i don't think it's a given that B-Hop wins this.

i expect he will, but Froch is not a mental midget like Pavlik and won't be befuddled so easily

he will give it his all for 12 rounds, so let's hope B-Hop can sustain a schooling for that long

i do think that when Froch is frustrated like Pavlik was he will react in an opposite way and become wild rather than give up, which B-Hop can capitalise on equally well though

Yeah, Hopkins was really boring while he was kicking Pavlik's ass all over the ring. :jerk: I see it going much the same and it won't be boring. You just can't stand seeing a white guy lose to a black guy.

Ahahaha Hopkins...one of the true geniuses of boxing, both in and out of the ring. With this easy win, he would be world champion in 3 different weight classes.

I predict another W UD 12 notch for Bernard's record, much like his victories over Pavlik, Tarver, Wright.

That's why I think Hopkins will stop him. Against Taylor, when Froch tried to box he was getting taken apart, but when he threw caution to the wind he started getting the best of Taylor, but against Hopkins, who is a helluva lot more accurate than Taylor I don't see how he will be able to take all the flush shots he has coming to him, and unlike Pavlik he doesn't keep his hands up and has no defence.
