away but how long have they been watching this guy fight? I saw
him whip many fighters asses toe to toe and totally dominated an Undefeated, heavy hitting, Diego Corrales in his prime, he whipped
out and had Phillip Ndou corner stop the fight, Henry Bruseles whipped
out in the 8th and these were guys who had like 1 or two losses in
30 fights and a high KO ratio. Mayweather is NO JOKE and if people
stopped for a minute and kept their annalyzes about boxing then they
would see the truth as well. Personally, I see Floyd talking **** because
he sells himself and a fight, that **** shouldn't be taking personally like
        most do.

Floyd had more towels thrown in the ring to stop fights, outclassed
guys with speed and accurate punching, fought toe to toe with a
game Jesus Chavez punch for punch and made him quit. Floyd has
style for every fighter. Maybe there is somebody out there that can
kick his ass but until I see him, I'm always going to put my money on
Floyd, because the guy is in his prime and still has some fight in him.
I just don't see anyone technically better than him right now.
Im picking Mayweather to win. But I want Marquez to win.

          which thread?

I don't get it, how can everyone say JMM has no chance in this fight? I understand he's going against all the odds against Money but I mean c'mon, JMM is an elite fighter and will retire as a solidified HoF'r. The only thing that really worries me about this fight is the fact that he has to go up so much in weight and will be the smaller man, but stylistically I don't see JMM in a disadvantage. People keep saying he got hit too much against Diaz but then again who the hell doesn't? when a young bull is throwing 100+ punches at you and pressures you like that you are bound to get hit. Floyd is not going to do that, he's gonna stay on his defense and wait to counter, and JMM is a counter puncher fighter as well. Can someone please explain to me why would JMM be that much in a disadvantage here?

Marquez was underrated ever since the time of Barerra & Morales even until today...

Floyd is a defensive fighter. Marquez is a counter puncher. However that does not mean, that either rely strictly on their specialty.

Going by his statements, he views Manny as the bigger threat, thus the greater prize.
I agree w/ you...Some people here had down graded the capabilities of Marquez & don't give any look to his accomplishments...He has a very strong resume to his credit & a very accomplished counter puncher...Maybe they forget that JMM is the 2nd best P4P today & the current WBA & WBO lightweight champion...His status speaks for himself...He had 4 losses but those 3 losses came from 2 undefeated fighters (Norwood & Chris John) & to the #1 P4P fighter Manny Pacquiao w/c were all competitive, not bad at all...The win over Barrera, the war between Manny Pacquiao & wins over notable strong oppositions only showed that his an elite champion...but his battle against elite champions like Juan Diaz & Casamayor where he both won by knock out were defining moments on his career...so i believe this is a very good match up w/ the former P4P king Floyd...since most considered Marquez as the underdog but i smell an upset...

jmm is taller than pac so i think size is not the main concern here...

I once before a Floyd fan but today not anymore cause i doubt if he has the heart...I think most of Floyd's fans were over confident & underestimated Marquez...Marquez resume speaks for himself like what i've said in my previous post...i favor Marquez for this fight...
