Will PBF price himself out of a PAC fight?

The smartest man in boxing strikes again.

PBF took the JMM fight as a business move for 2 reasons:

    1. If he beats JMM he could say that this should command him more money than PAC if they ever do fight.

    2. He doesn't look like a coward if Arum says "screw you" if you don't take less than PAC.

exactly! This fight will not be easy to make because they both will want the lions share of the fight and if anything pbf would somehow blame arum for it. It wouldnt be arums fault if pacman wants more cause hes been fighting while pbf has been in retirement.

Yup! Because if Floyd was going to come back anyway, why did he not come back in December after the Pac ODLH fight and called PAC out before PAC picked Hatton. Why come out now and why Marquez?

Well, if he prices himself out of a pacman fight and fights Cotto instead, I won't be disappointed. I want him to fight Mosley to, but its more important that he fight Cotto.

My question is...what happens if his plan goes to ****. Like lets see.. I know it is unlikely but what if somehow marquez beats him? or if pacman does fight cotto and cotto beats pacman would pbf fight cotto? somehow someway I just see something crazy coming up that will mess up his plans if he does have one. If pbf and arum are still fighting i dont see pbf fighting anyone from top rank.Cause I know arum would do business with him but i dont think floyd feels the same way.

Ridiculous common I am pacman fan but give mayweather some credit. This guy fights at 154 and 147 . Why would he be scared of pacman. A natural 140 lb. Some pacnuthugger are just as ridiculous as mayweather nuthugger

marquez kind of reminds me of Castillo style wise, so he could have the style to beat Mayweather.

This is not about nuthugging, this is about how Floyd conducts his career and I don't blame him for that, boxing is a dangerous sport. He is the smartest boxer, IN and OUT, of the ring and kudos to him for that.

It's all about low risk, high reward for Floyd and this has been a fact in his career post-JLC. Pre-JLC, Floyd was one of the greatest fighters ever, willing to **** and knock people out, with occassional flashes of speed and technique. Nowadays, he just wins boxing matches and never gets into wars. I think the first fight with Castillo, although he avenged it, changed the way he looked at boxing. It became a business to him.

I give him credit for being P4P #1 while really not fighting the best in his division, post JLC. If he fought the best, which I believe he could have won easily, he would be considered along Robinson, Armstrong, and Ali. But right now, he is just going to be considered the smartest man in boxing.

Marquez is 37 when the fight happens and it will be just as Floyd beat the aging Hernandez in 95 or 97? Too big, too fast and too smart.

Marquez's chin is questionable and with the speed and accuracy that Floyd has, there should be a couple of KD in there for him.

Believe PBF knows this and that's why he took the fight. His real aim is to take the P4P crown back at the right price, of course.
