If Hatton is able to clinch the "elusive" Pacquiao, It will take Pac 20+ rounds to stop Hatton on accumulation... but he's only got 12, so I don't see it happening.

I dont think Hatton can take Pacquaio's punches. I do believe Pacquaio hits harder than Mayweather and Mayweather knocked Hatton out badly, Hatton didn't look like he could take his punches. Who does Mayweather ever knock out like that? Pacquiao throws way more than Mayweather does so I see the same result only a round sooner. Hatton is not as skilled as Pacquaio is.

LoL, thanks for posting info we already knew captain obvious. His power isn't overrated. It is what it is. Accumulative type based on his heavy hands. He hits hard, no doubt, but not 1 punch KO type of hard. It's the kind where you get hit, you can take the punch, but over 12 rds? Those punches begin to feel like sledgehammers as the body is already worn down. I don't think too many people here thought Manny had 1 punch KO power since he hasn't had a 1 punch KO since what? Emmanuel Lucero back at 122lbs?

Accumulation punchers like Pacquiao will be ineffective due to their punches being smothered, or not being able to let their hands go from the clinch. (Bhop over Calzaghe) He doesn't have enough power in the few punches he will land (compared to his usual work-rate) so Hatton will not be fazed at all.

I don't think so. One-punch KO artist like Judah would be Hatton's worst nightmare, with precision counter-punchers like Mayweather being a close second.

Larios getting picked apart with precision and KTFO cold with a single straight right hand down the middle.
Here we see David Diaz getting grilled with a single shot... He gets KTFO in the 8th round.
Pac hitting Diaz with every shot in the book, yet it has no effect on Diaz until he finally gets stopped from the accumulation. If he had any defense or movement at all he would have lasted the the 12th round easily. Diaz was able to pin Pacquiao against the ropes on several occasions... but he has no skills at all so he didn't know what to do.
Barrera getting hit with everything with full force by Pacquiao. He seems confused, but never hurt at all, period.
Barrera getting KTFO by a single counter-punch.
I see no problem at all with Hatton being able to take Pacquiao's punches. His clinch will neutralize Pac's workrate, his power, stamina, and pressure will force Pac to make mistakes. Who can take who's punches better is what this fight is going to come down to. I see Hatton taking Pac's punches on the front foot better than Pac takes Hatton's punches on the back foot any day of the week, and Pac will be fighting on his back-foot. As the great Joe Louis once said, "You can run, but you can't hide". So what will Pac do when he can't hide? He's no Ali or Mayweather, he's not even an elite at all when it comes to counters. That's just the way I see it.
