It seems quite strange that mayweather snr would reveal fight tactics before the actual fight.

If hatton wins it will be all down to maywweather snr's input. Because the old hatton wouldn't have stood a chance against manny IMO. Also, i'd be surprised if hatton doesn't fall into his old ways of fighting when the fight goes in to the treches. He's been with floyd snr for less than a year, hatton will start fighting to his old style as the fight goes on, i'm sure of it. But, maybe a few changes might stick and prove to be effective!

Plan and strategy

Most boxing experts believes that manny will win this fight..but many also believes hatton can do an upset..in my point of view though i am pacman's fan,and admired hattons skills after he won against tyzu..stamina and strategy will be factors in this fight regardless of the fight plan.fight plan will work only if the other coordinate with you accordingly,if not, you needs plans b,c,d..my point is, these two warriors will fight untill the end and knockdowns is foreseen.and here is my prediction..if manny gets knockdown in late rounds (9-11)then hatton will win by k.o..if pacman knockdown hatton in early rounds(3-5) then pacman will win by k.o. Or ud.anf if no knockdowns in the fight then it will be a close split decision either way...let us see.hope may 2 is tomorrow.

I agree with this guy, he probably watch alot of the Marquez vs Pacquiao and will try to counter, the only difference is that Ricky was never known for counterpuncher, kind of too late for him in his career to change his spots.

Anyone who thinks Floyd Sr would reveal a strategy they have spent months in formulating a few days before the fight needs their head checked.

Making a fight plan is one thing, actually seeing it out and using it is quite another, that depends on the fighter on the night. I guarntee we'll see Floyd Sr bollocking Ricky several times during the nights for not sticking to the "plan".

Easier said then done, especially when Pacquiao finds a home for his left and Hatton cant seem to time Pacquiaos speed.

The reason why I have always said that Floyd will beat Pac is because he will walk Pac down and make Pac fight going backwardsm, which he cant do. Its just that no one has been able to consistently do it but EM did it in there 1st fight. Floyd can do it. Can Hatton? He's capable but he can also get caught in the process.

I dont know about the jab stuff though. Its super super hard to jab a Southpaw when youre a righty. The only one Ive seen recently to do it well is MAB. Most righties just abandoned the jab agaisnt Southpaws because its so hard

I dont think someone will reveal their plains just before the fight. I think what Ricky hatton is aiming to do is go to the chin early. thats why they hinted about manny guarding the chin so much and less on the body so what theyre trying to do is make manny aware that theyre going to the body but in reality theyre going for a quick chin KO
