Floyd Mayweather Sr. Reveals Ricky Hatton's Strategy

How I look at it is........Ricky Hatton has been tested by heavier hitters
at 140 and 147 Manny hasn't......There is a possibility that Ricky laughs
at Manny when he hits him. I'm reading a lot of posts about this fight
and it just baffles me that people really think Manny is going to come
to 140 (Ricky's division) and make him look like he has never fought there?
He has never lost there. Ricky is going to hunt and back Manny down.
Manny's fast but Ricky has speed as well and applies constant pressure.
This fight will boil down to who can take the most pressure & punches.
Manny dominated Diaz and De La Hoya and I think a lot of people are
going by that to pick him over Hatton or Hatton's performance against
Floyd Jr.

We have yet to see how Pacquiao can handle the elite prime fighters
in higher weight classes. My thing is that I don't view Manny as a
technical guy & I think Marquez showed who were the most technical
of the two, Manny is a fighter that over whelms his opponents
with speed and punches, Hatton is a live wire and knows how to close
the gap and cut the ring off. I believe Manny will not be teeing off on
Hatton and getting out of the way, Manny is going to have to stand
and fight, mark my words.

If you look at the 2nd 24/7 all Roach and Moore did was base there prediction on the fact that Hatton might grab but in the Malignaggi
fight he didn't hold at all and boxed way better than he did prior.
My opinion is that Roach really doesn't know what to expect, he
even said that he hasn't really seen any flaws. I totally feel that
Ricky has the element of surprise on his side and if he fights smart
he will beat Manny on Saturday.

i didnt see delahoya laughing when manny is hitting him in the face, but i did see his head snapping back though. he will feel it alright when manny lands it, im pretty damn sure of it.

The heavy hitting Miguel Cotto couldn't even KO Pauli Malignaggi
and it went the distance but Ricky Hatton had Pauli on the run
& his corner threw in the towel because he was getting beat so
bad. Who else ever did that to Malignaggi? Feather fist and all?
I believe Manny can win because he's good but if Hatton comes
to the ring with his A game, he will win on Saturday. Since day
one I have feeling Hatton's chances a lil more than Manny's.

Yes, I did. Countless times. He was lunging straight it while throwing the jab. No head movement.

I saw him using head movement, not enough, but a significant improvement on his previous few fights.

Look, Paulie is not in the same league as Manny

That's not the point, the point is that I saw Hatton using significantly more head movement on the way in during that fight than in his previous few fights.

damn i cant wait to watch the fight no more. its gonna be a great boxing match this year.

I like when flloyd Snr says they goin for pacmans body earlier, hatton was havin nuff trouble catchin pac to land a good body shot, Flloyd shud've worked on his jab to close in, coz pac's footwork is really good IMO

People may be eating there words, but Manny has shown us what he is made of now, and can any of us really see Hatton back in the ring again, he made enoguh money from the Mayweather fight, i would love to see a re-match on that one seeing Floyds back what you all think!
