His stamina is a major part in it and probaly the demons after that knockout are still clear in his mind.

Perhaps he just lost to a better fighter?

Or perhaps he should have brought in the ref. from the Bute-Andrade fight.

Taylor is a very skillful, quick boxer, and has lots of heart. He doesn't have an iron chin though.

Take into consideration his opponents Pavlik and Froch are very strong, aggressive fighters. Those guys are throwbacks to the days of the 15 round fights because of their excellent stamina and desire to win.

Jermain is very good, but Froch and Pavlik had that little something extra.

he should have retired the day he made the comment "I dont really like boxing, and don't watch it when I'm not in the gym"

IMO..he looks mentally ruined..just like Zab. When I saw some of those right hands from Froch last night I could see the expression in Jermain's face that he look terrified..like he couldn't react to it...but that's just my opinion.

I think he was always mentally week...It just took the ghost to bring to everybody's attention.

Remember before he fought Bhop they asked him if he was ready to take on the champ....he said no and he didnt know if he was ready...or something along those lines...

Thats the first time I started to believe he wasn't cut out of the right cloth.

i've always said from the get go, that taylor was a hype job, protected by hbo to be groomed into the next star. i personally think that taylors mojo was taken from hopkins, even though taylor got the wins, i think he wasn't the same after their fights. the intensity isnt there and his focus was never the same after fighting hopkins. when he faced pavlik, i think that pavlik put up the resistance that finally broke taylors already tattered will. there is a lot more to draw upon but to sum it up, i think that hopkins planted the seed, the fights leading to the pavlik fight were watering that seed and it went into full bloom when pavlik fought taylor the first time. i thought taylor did good the second fight but not enough to win.

taylor needs regroup and i think find another trainer, someone who will guide him with the right fight strategy...........
