Pavlik or Calzaghe would have put him away early.
i think this is the main problem with taylor. it's a shame because he have talent.
what he needs is 2 weeks with hopkins and he'll be back like a tiger.

taylor needs regroup and i think find another trainer, someone who will guide him with the right fight strategy...........
You don't beat Hopkins and are a "hype" job, sorry. He was one hell of a fighter and a great prospect at one point. The problem with taylor is that from everything I read, he doesn't work hard enough.
He was born with all the tools but relied on them too much in the ring. He has a great jab and great physical strength but he has limited skill and seems to run out of gas late in fights.
I don't know if he's done but I think it will take him getting re-motivated to get back into the division. He does have the right tools I just think he needs someone to push him non stop.

I think Taylor is fine mentally.
He proved he was fine after the first Pavlik defeat by having a rematch months later where he lasted the distance in a close fight.
The problem with Taylor was his stamina.
He was actually fighting a very good fight against Froch but he gassed and Froch was able to take advantage.
