Indeginous pre columbian natives arent blacks. Descendants from african ****** are. Or are you such a genius, you think that latin america, which had more ****** than ANYONE else, doesnt have such a population?

I feel like every year on boxingscene, the distinction between indian, european white and black has to be clarified on here because of the fact that latin america is so racially mixed up.

Some people show clear features of a native race, white latins, black latins, indios etc. Some people are more mixed, thus its impossible to tell. But guys like gamboa, guzman and miranda its ****ing obvious what their lineage is. If you cant see that, i dont know what to tell you.

alot of blacks in latin america tend to deny they are even black due to the amount of institutionalized racism that has plagued latin america for a long time. Places like brazil, dominican republic, columbia etc have high concentrations of blacks, but they are marginalized, along with the native indians, so often times people think they are better off in society but just not saying they are black.

its not like america and europe where being black is a proud thing where people have overcome many obstacles, in latin america, those problems still exist. Kinda like how blacks in bolivia werent even reckonized as citizens until 2006, or how brazil was one of the LAST countries to abolish slavery.

It might be, because of the mix in that partocular area. You could find Family here in PR, tht Have on soud that is light skiined and maybe to darked skined, and they come form the same linage,ect,ect.

Its not as simple as Blacks are Blacks and whites are withes anymore.

You have to take into consideration that place particular mixed. So thats why, if You are Mexican, then your race is Mexican!!!!!!!!!!!!
