    Amir Khan is a *****.

In his latest interview he said he is gonna win the WBA title, make one voluntary defence while he waits for a lightweight title shot to come along, then move back down. So basically what this means is, he's gonna beat Kotelnik, probably defend against a light welterweight version of Tocker Pudwill, then when the opportunity arises he'll move back down to lightweight and fight the weakest champion available. So there'll be no Victor Ortiz fight, no Juan Manuel Marquez fight, just ***** ass Warren and Khan fooling the world. He'll be a "2 weight world champion" by summer 2010 without fighting anyone prime world class. The most likely situation is someone with more than 1 belt at lightweight will get stripped and Khan will fight some pudding for the vacant title.

    scrap all that.

Take a 17 year-old Olympic Silver medalist. Who may well have been a **** pro.

Fast froward five years and your saying he might be a two-weight at 23 world champion- and you still **** all over him.

    Well done mate. Brilliant.

sparked you ****ing moron, that's exactly what Frank Warren wants you to think. I was thinking, fair enough if he moves up and beats Kotelnik, then fights the mandatory Victor Ortiz but noooooo AS IF Warren would let Khan anywhere near a puncher like Ortiz after the last time, gonna pick on some jobber, typical. Makes me sick and you actually fall for this crap.

lol it is a bit of a joke. but he atleast he admits he's going with the easy route. he's not ready for none of the top guys and they know it. its only his 22nd fight so its not that bad of a fight.

You're talking about someone who is 21 though.

          Consider that, firstly.

He has to go up in increments in levels of fighters, not take leaps in the dark. I'm all (going for anyone) for that if a fighter is at his peak.

          But: A.) Amir Khan isn't

B.) We don't really know how good he is, If he can win two belts in two-weight classes, even against lesser champs. We will know his a world-level pro. That much is patently ******** obvious.

Another question: What kind of standards are you judging Khan by? peel back all the bull**** and hype. Essentially, what do you have? What would be a good achievement for a young prospect to reach by the age of 23?

Khan gets too much criticism. Far too much.

sparked they can't feed us Amir Khan like he's the second coming of Christ, or Mohamed or whoever the ****, and then in the next breath say "ooooh but he's only an inexperienced little boy, we need to bring him on in stages", it just doesn't work like that. They are conning us is what they're doing, if you want to buy into the Warren bull**** then go right ahead.

It's not about buying into it.

It's about being sensible enough to judge each fight on its own merits.

Kotelnik, not a great champ sure, but an Olympic Silver Medalist who has defended that strap a couple of times and got jobbed against Junior Witter previously. He has decent pedigree.

If Khan beats Kotelnik, he has done well.

At the very least he will have held an alphabet title when all is said and done with whatever comes of his career - he has that, better than Audrey. And a decent benchmark for all the other Olympic standouts.

No real boxing fan is buying into the Amir hype, but this kind of anti-feeling is harsh. He's a young boxer, and he's done alright so far, despite getting starched by some random Columbian in about 8 seconds.

The funny part is he'll never be UNDEFEATED like a MAYWEATHER or HATTON,he's been dropped 5 times and BRUTALLY KO'D in 89 SECONDS.WARREN will have to be HOUDINI to make this kid a genuine superstar.THOSE WHISKERS WILL NOT ALLOW IT!!!

what a twat you sound. he actually said he would like to win the belt defend a couple of times and when ready like 12-18 months if the right fight i.e jmm then he would move down, but he said that he is not ready for that fight just now. open your ears up, listen and dont let your hate for the guy cloud the facts.
