Right, if your talking about the Bunce interview yesterday

What Khan ACTUALLY said was no matter what happens, he needs to fight and beat Brediss Prescott at some point of his career and he will knows he will probably have to move down to lightweight to do that. He then went on to say he sees this fight in 2 or 3 fights time AFTER he beats Kotelink, defends once or twice and then moves down. He then said he could become a two weight world champion in 18 months and that is what motivates and excits him. Khan ain't a *****- he ain't ducked nobody in his short career

He also said he'd move back up after beating Prescott and go after Marquez

      and go after Marquez

we all know that he won't "go after" though bro.

in all seriousness, who do you think khan will fight in his next 2 matches after his one coming up?? I'd say that he won't fight Ortis, Katsdis ( is he went down) or Prescott. He's had chances at 135 to fight some of the big boys but hasn;t, why?? why move upto 140 and then move back down again??

Because the lightweight division is all over the place. That was the reason he gave. He wants to win a title in a division which he will gain some credibility for.

I cant see why people complain about Khan yet Edwin Valero doesnt get the same greif. Antonio Pitalua was a joke look at the records of the last ten people he thought before valero..

            26-3-0, 7-4-2, 0-0-0, 0-3-0, 0-4-0, 0-1-0, 11-0-0, 12-10-0, 23-7-0, 27-10-2

and this was a guy who has had 50 pro bouts and only lost 4. Its OK for the WBC to let Valero fight this joke of a fighter and win the belt, but the WBA letting Khan fight Kotelnik is a joke??? Valero is a fighter who needs bigger fights not Khan, Khan aint ready after two years let him fight the best but if he isnt at his best why rush him?

As for Victor Ortiz vs Amir Khan, both of them would be ****** to take this fight on now, why not wait till both of them are big names and then fight at the MGM as the mainevent, im a fan of both and think both are coming along well but we all know they are not yet able to sell out a big event by them selves. This will be a big fight for the future and incase you didnt know Khan beat Ortiz in the junior Olympics, 2nd round TKO

Ricky Hatton fought Tony Pep(this was rickys 23rd pro fight and at one stage Pep was fighting at super-featherweight) for the vacant WBU title, he won it and defended it for 15 matches before fighting Kostya Tszyu for a respectable belt in the IBF world title belt(Rickys 39th fight) and you have the nerve to ask Khan to fight all the best at a young age??

So you want him to fight Ortiz, JMM, Hatton, then Pacman. Maybe even a Prescott rematch in there somewhere.

So by your definition he should fight those in what, the next 3 years? That makes him 25. What after? Retirement? After all, he's fought the best fighters and done what he could, and there's nothing else he could achieve, right?

You're such a ****ing moron OP. It's people like you I wanna meet in the street, stand toe to toe and ****in smash you and your face til I can see your skull ripping through your flesh you half dum witted c*nt. A two weight champion at the age of 22 and you're still ****ing on about this and that. Shut the **** up. He has to take one step at a time. If he does everything by the age of 25/26 then he'll retire, he's leaps ahead of a usual 22 year old, he needs to be fighting guys the class of JMM and Ortiz at the age of 28ish in his prime. He's nowhere near his prime.

But ******s like you fail to see it you C*NT.

So basically what this means is, he's gonna beat Kotelnik, probably defend against a light welterweight version of Tocker Pudwill, then when the opportunity arises he'll move back down to lightweight and fight the weakest champion available. So there'll be no Victor Ortiz fight, no Juan Manuel Marquez fight, just ***** ass Warren and Khan fooling the world. He'll be a "2 weight world champion" by summer 2010 without fighting anyone prime world class. The most likely situation is someone with more than 1 belt at lightweight will get stripped and Khan will fight some pudding for the vacant title.
the only reason why khan is at 140 is to get a hatton fight

LOL, Amir Khan will always get ****ted on in these parts. Crap chin - All of a sudden he ain't got a future in this sport? Wake up! Watch the bloke fight and tell me he ain't one of the most talented prospects in boxing?

Potential World champ at Khan's age! That's exceptional steps forward. Then move back down till you're ready to rematch Prescott and win a world title there.

His career is starting to come to the boil nicely if you ask me?
