Mosley ain't got nothing for Floyd but a punchers chance and so does Cotto & Pacquiao.

I say the only fighter that would be difficult for Floyd is Paul at 147, too much of a height advantage but I would still pick Floyd to win but it would be closer than the rest of them. People on here hate Floyd so much but whenever an article pops up with his name on it the threads get more burn than any other fighter in the game.

As soon as Floyd turned Pro, Arum snatched him up and hired Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De La Hoya to mentor him because they knew how good the kid was/is, even labeled him the next SRR & you guys are on here saying he scared of these guys that are looking to get to where PBF is & he is retired? You guys should get a clue and think before you talk.
You're confusing the haters with the neutral boxing fans. The latter just want to see the best fight the best, and to challenge themselves.

The neutrals respect his achievements as a fighter up to but not including Welterweight, and they have massive respect for his skills. But if he's coming back at Welterweight, they want to see him fight one of the proven top Welterweights. And if he wants to come back to fight someone from a lower division, then given his fans claim he's not a natural Welterweight, the neutrals want to see those fights take place at Jnr Welterweight.

Rado is right. Floyd was the man at 130-135 and his accomplishments are HOF worthy there. However, chop chop, bruseles, and gatti gets no props as far as being a real fighter. Same with his ww career. Look who atg's fought. You would favor floyd in those fights but no one knows what would happen. At least we know what happens with the big ww names because they all fight each other. There is always an excuse why he doesn't end up in the ring with his toughest tests I will gladly throw some bets down witcha Floyd ever challenges himself. Bottom line- in the last 6-7 yrs, floyd's resume is good. Not real good or great. And it definitely ain't Pfp.

Nah, I'm not getting that vibe from them. WE ALL want to see Floyd fight
Cotto/Mosley/Pacquiao, Etc.....but it's not happening now and maybe it
will or won't but bottom line the kid is nice with his and an excellent
business man. I'm reading posts where people are being very bias
towards the man because he doesn't want to fight Mosley right away
like he is really scared of this guy who ducked him when he was in his
prime? My whole thing is that you should have facts to back up your
claims. Floyd wants Marquez to move up to 147 so that means he will
be fighting there so there is a possibility if he comes back that Shane
& Cotto is gonna get it. Floyd ain't scared of these guys, why should he?
he's already winning the fight with his mental. My thing is that it is ok
to be heated because he retired early but it seems like every little Floyd
article you get is nothing but the same BS posts from different people.

cause none of them will build up for a fight w/ the pac/hatton winner

there's absolutely no point in jmm jumping up 2 weight divisions to be a tuneup.
              yes there is

              1) jmm = mexican fanbase
              2) best lead-in fight for winner of pac/hatton
              3) will be a decent purse, turn out and ppv buys for negotiations for the pac/hatton winner
hatton/pac winner will be more money for jmm. might as well wait for that fight.
he'd make more money fighting both though

if floyd just wants to get the ring rust out......go beat up quintana for a few rounds. or if he's feeling bold grab a trinket from berto or clottey.
I think he should get his belt back form berto, but none of those fights are as good as a fight w/ jmm in terms of a lead in for the winner of pac/hatton

I think he is coming back to clean house and silence the critics
this time around because don't really see the point in him coming
back for Juan Manuel Marquez and Pacquiao then retiring again.
If that is the case then he should just stay retired. 130-135 Floyd
is considered a HOF right? So he's pretty much proven himself in
two weight classes. Miguel Cotto's level of comp at 140 is almost
the same as PBF's except Floyd won titles & Cotto fought for Vacant
                ones.

At 147 Cotto fought only two tough challenges Mosley/Margarito,
the rest are Judah (After Floyd), Quintana, Gomez, Jennings? now Clottey coming up. with exceptions to Mosley & now Clottey the rest of the guys were mediocre (Margarito is questionable). In my opinion Floyd has more
of a right to get some cash because his place is solidified in boxing. Maybe
not so much at Welter but everywhere else. Lets see what he does
                when/if he returns.

Dude. you have NO IDEA what you are talking about.

Shane is not a commercial draw. Anyone even remotely close to the business end of the sport knows this. I shouldn't even be engaged in this discussion with you.

You are clowning a Sharmba fight, and meanwhile Floyd made TWICE as much for that Sharmba fight four years ago as Shane made to fight Margarito. Go verify that. Floyd made FIVE TIMES as much to fight Baldomir as Shane made to fight Margarito. Go verify that.

Floyd doesn't NEED Shane. Can you understand that? There are a ****load of guys calling Floyd out. He has options. He is the prettiest girl at the dance right now. He isn't going to dance with the guy from the Math Club.

FMJ's fights are PPV, and will generate $20 mill in revenue. Why is PPV important? Because it is nearly impossible to get a $5 mil payday without PPV. And SSM is looking for 'big money fights". In his words. Anybody Floyd fights will have a career payday. Look it up.

Shane is not that dude. Only boxing diehards follow Shane.

I seldom get frustrated, but you post a zillion times per day and you don't know a thing about the effin' sport. Sigh.

Well, the entire editorial board of Ring ****zine disagrees with you.
