    Assuming he can hang....lol

We need to see this fight. This is how it will play out, Pacquiao will get by Hatton and it will look even more convincing then when Mayweather KOed Hatton sparking the media to write articles about how Pacquiao destroyed Oscar Delahoya into submission and slaughtering Ricky Hatton in a more convincing fashion the Floyd igniting Mayweather's ego to come back from retirement to battle for P4P supremacy.

Pacquiao vs. Mayweather either Nov. or Dec. 2009
        Titled: Pound for Pound Supremacy

Pacman is not getting by Ricky... and even if he did. He would lose to Floyd, Cotto, and Mosley. He should try to keep his legacy going by beating JMM in a 3rd fight where he could actually win. Im telling you all... if Manny really does move up to fight the top welters and Floyd he is going to get battered. I keep playing images of him going against the top welters in my head and it plays out pretty ugly. I admire his bravery but he really should just stay 140lb and below.

They don't really want to put Pacquiao in the ring against Mayweather Jr. It's finally come to their senses that this fight (Hatton) is going to be much more difficult for Pacquiao than they anticipated, and are only trying to manipulate the outcome of a very close fight with pressure on the judges with the "fact" that Pacquiao will face Mayweather Jr. next.

They did the same thing a month prior to Marquez II, they said "Pacquiao will face David Diaz and Ricky Hatton after he fights Marquez". Sure enough, Pacquiao got the SD victory in a fight that could have gone either way, in a fight the majority of boxing experts thought Pac lost, for the winner that made much more financial sense in the future!

Just like when fans and the media(and Hatton himself) were all excited because "Floyd had trouble with Castillo and Hatton crushed four of JLC's ribs"?

Don't buy into the hype, mijo.

First, Hatton will beat Pacquiao. So, if you wanna see May/Pac, it will be a diminished fight. Second, you can't believe anything that Arum says. Nobody has lied to you more than Arum has: Floyd is the best fighter of the past 40 years. Floyd is a coward. Floyd is not a big enough draw for Manny. Floyd is Manny's next opponent. Who would give this dude any cred? Third, a Floyd/Manny fight would be a surprisingly predictable one-sided affair: Mayweather takes two rounds to adjust to Pac's speed and rocking. By round 3/4, Floyd starts hitting and countering Manny hard. By 6/7/8, Pac is being punished badly, and the fight is over shortly thereafter. A game Manny gets rescued by Roach in round 10.
