i seriously doubt if happens because well as much respect i have for the Chavez name being mexican well Jr aint all that and Pacquiao would expose him for the average fighter that he is. He would lose the money that Chavez Jr brings him so the smart thing to do is to step up his competetion much slowly against opponents that maybe he could beat. Chavez Jr vs Pac would sell but Arum aint ****** he will think longterm. He just said this to either piss off floyd or cotto if Arum thinks Cotto is gone for sure

They must have a death wish, Chavez Jr. is not really to fight any elite fighter.

pacquiao would be far too good for him, although chavez jr would have a big size advantage that could make the fight somewhat interesting........im inclined to think manny wins in a similar fashion to the DLH fight..dominates until an accumulation of shots finishes chavez

Chavez is a junior middleweight and Pacquiao has only fought once above 135-pounds, when he stopped Oscar De La Hoya last December at welterweight. Pacquiao seems too small for Chavez, even though the Mexican prospect has plenty of flaws. [details]

                Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!
arum knows manny is close to retiring so he is just milking him as much as he can before he goes away

Although Bob Arum looks like a hero in putting the biggest names in front of Pacman, his main motive is to get Pacman defeated. Oscar is 5'10.5". Chavez is 6'0". Thanks that there is a catch-weight limit. However, Pacman is up to the challenge and might have accidentally proved that he is P4P King.

De La Hoya would whoop Chavez Jr.'s ass at 154... Even though I knew this fight wont happen because Oscars all about the money but Oscar would win

I don't know how Arum got this idea, but he's a power in boxing so anything the old man says is possible. There's nothing money couldn't do in this crazy world of boxing!
