this story is about what? margarito's illegal hand wraps right, the knuckle pads and the hand wraps are not bound together but when people say illegal hand wraps they are talkin about anything illegal under or over the wraps and if you wrap someones hands with something illegal no one is gonna say no he didn't illegaly wrap his hand he just had something illegal under his wraps, it is all considered illegal hand wrapping

That's what people posting here are referring to but it's obviously not what Capetillo was referring to when he said that, because he was referring to how he wrapped the hands.

He obviously couldn't have meant "I always insert pre-doctored knuckle pads after I've wrapped his hands", that would just be incriminating himself. He was trying to deflect attention away from the illegal knuckle pads and was trying to pretend it was about the way he wrapped his hands when it wasn't.

cotto fought the wrong fight he listened to what most ****** boxin fans and experts were sayin and decide to try to move alot and try to strictly counter punch margarito rather than bring the fight to him like shane did, plaster or not cotto should of beat margo and he should be ashamed of himself for losin to margarito

With all due respect I believe it was the other way around. For the first six rounds cotto brought the fight to margarito. Cotto had never strted as fast as he did with Margo, EVER!

Let's go to the facts.

Fact 1 Before the fight with Mosley there was a strange substance found inside the gauze on Margarito's hands.

Fact 2 When asked, Capetillo said that it was a mistake and it was on 1 hand only but it turned out that when they unwrapped the other hand it was found there also.

Fact 3 Substances found on Margarito's hand, As per Capetillo, where placed by mistake and they were old (blood stained) wraps used on Cotto's fight left on the trainers bag by mistake.

Fact 4 Margarito and his trainer always denied that the substance was plaster or hardener. Their excuse were that since they were old and had been wet it was normal for it to be hard.

Fact 5 As per the Nevada Commisioner, being that the substance was inside the already folded gauzes (trainers normally place the folded guaze on the table for the commisioner to see them but it is not normal for them to be unfolded) they didn't notice anything ilegal at the moment until Mosley trainer notice that it was harder than usual. (obviously after the sweaty hands did it's reaction with the plaster).

Fact 6 Capetillos has been Margarito's trainer for all his career.

Fact 7 When a fighter has a broken nose on the 2nd round (probably due to a plaster) you will not be able to breath normally, your oxigen won't flow thru your braine and lungs properly and you will get weaker faster than usual. That will cause you to land softer punches and have the ability to avoid punches from your oponent.

Fact 8 Cotto was giving the type of beaten to Margarito that Mosley gave him with the difference that Mosley had the oxigen and energy that Cotto didn't have and we are talking about a guy that outboxed Mosley in a 12 round fight.

Fact 9 A sparring partner from Margarito's team was seriously injured by a blow from Margarito that broke a bone on his jaw or face and everybody that knows Margarito he is not a one shot demolishing puncher, it's the amount of accumulative punches.

Fact 10 If this thread is accurate the substance that was found, and that Margarito's team including Bob Arum, always denied that it was ilegal, has been confirmed as Plaster by the Department of Justice after several laboratory test.

Conclusions
A conspiracy was on going to use the ilegal plaster and they lied about it even on the night they were caught and after the suspension.

Blood test should be done to the wraps stained by blood and if it's Cotto's DNA (like Capetillo said) they should removed Cotto's lost, and bann forever Margarito and his trainer because it would be proof that Mosley fight was not the 1st time using this plaster.

In the meantime, it is true that there's no proof that Margarito used the plaster against Cotto and neither will we never now that it might affected Cotto's performance and the end of the fight and cost him a victory, but then again.

the only round wher cotto is comin forward is the 1st and a little bit in the 2nd the rest of the fight he would back peddle to the ropes wait for margarito and try to counter
