You're talking rubbish He tried to get a fight with Mosley in 1999 and again before the DLH fight, but Mosley wasn't interested at the time (in the first case because he wanted to move up and fight DLH, in the second case, I think because DLH wanted to fight Mayweather and DLH was Mosley's boss at GBP).

Also, Mayweather has very fragile hands and because of that, his prime may be shorter than his physical prime. And he was fighting at world class level at a far younger age than most fighters, so had had a much longer career at that level than most fighters ever have.

Why are you ruining your own thread by going off topic and by showing the same unwarranted lack of respect for other fighters that you are complaining about people showing to your favourite fighter? You've completely blown your thread, in my eyes.

        Yea, seriously.

140 is his domain where hes never lost. Hes not an aged, part time fighter either.

What Pacquiao did to DLH was nice, but lets be real. Many of us have been saying DLH has been on the slide for years now. We know Hatton at 140 is a bully as well.

I'm not saying its going to be a blowout in Hattons favor, but I think he edges Pac out.

Its going to be a great fight and probably FOTY.

That bolded part was not even proper english.. I dont know ****??

Lol okay.. Im not even a Mayweather fan, i call a spade a spade.

Hatton is a *****, and Mayweather beat his ass.. Simple as that..
You're a moron, simple as that.

Last I checked, Hatton came to Floyds country, and fought him in Floyds division.

How you can call that ***** is beyond the realm of reasonable logic.

Getting knocked out doesn't make one a ***** but sure makes you look ******ed for repeating Floyd.

see the mayweather fans talk crap just like he does...like i said i respect mayweather as a fighter overall....just if you are mean about him the mayweather fans think its the end of the world or something...and a 39-0 record is great....but lots of other guys in history with far more impressive resumes then that who had a few loses....in history mayweather is good but not an all time great...lets be realistic...and to show i''m fare...i dont think hatton at the moment is a hall of famer

Not in the least. I'm not a casual fan thinking Pac is gonna walk through Hatton at his natural, undefeated weight. No man has been able to do it and while Pac has skills and it COULD happen, I'm betting against it.

u r becoming one of my favorite posters here man... u r objective & quite a good sport not throwing any insults & foul words to fellow posters...

ok, 4 d record i think hatton really has all the physical advantages and the fight being held @ 140... but facing pacquiao is so much different fighting malignaggi and lazcano and maussa... as it is fighting hatton is very different from fighting sasakul, ledwada, barrera, morales, marquez and ODLH... its a very intriguing fight and both men has equal chance to take it..

if hatton wins, i will congratulate him and give him props...

but i wont bet everything i have 4 a victory by him though!

Yeah I have my predictions and appreciate the compliment and all I see coming from this fight, is a very good night for our sport. Whoever wins, it don't matter, boxing wins come May 2nd.

most people disrespect Hatton because he has a loss on his record.

where as most knowledgable people have respect for the man but dont think he will beat Pacquiao.

Hopkins frequently wins ugly, and in many of his fights he not only hit and held, but more illegally, he hit, on the referee's blind side, while holding. And in the Holmes fight, he threw more low blows than I've ever seen in any other single fight. But he gets a lot less criticism for his dirty tactics than Hatton does.

Duran won extremely ugly in many of his fights, especially again Buchanan, but was praised for his "intense ferocity". Duran bored in with his head against Buchanan, wrestled, repeatedly hit on the break, and ended the fight with a low blow in the groin that sent Buchanan to hospital, yet is rarely criticised.
Tszyu throw Sharmba Mitchell around the ring in their first fight and hurt Santos repeatedly with illegal rabbit punches - yet everyone felt sorry for him and criticised the referee when Hatton out-rough-housed the rough-houser.

Marciano used to bore in with his head and head butt his opponents, but is rarely criticised for his rough-house tactics the way Hatton is.

Mosley hit and held a great deal against Margarito, but I didn't see any criticism of him after that fight.

Mayweather used his elbows illegally a great deal against Hatton, but few people criticised him for it.

                      Definitely double standards, IMO.
i don't like hatton because he wrestles and i don't like bernard because he clinches excessively and i have never been to much of a duran fan, kostya tszyu was a very dirty fighter and i was not a fan of his i remeber i was very excited when he lost to hatton but then the hatton fans made this out to be the greatest win in boxing history and base hattons career off this fight and that was when i started to dislike hatton because even though he beat tzsyu it was still a close fight and it was a sloppy fight and tszyu is not the greatest boxer ever if anything he was a very inactive boxer and his best win besides the judah win is probably the sharmba fights where tszyu was throwing sharmba around and eventually sharba's knee blew out then tszyu fights sharmba again in a rematch and you can clearly see that sharmba was not the same fighter after he injured his knee then tszyu fights hatton
Shane did not clinch that much against margarito now your just bein ****** with that one.
floyd pushes off but that doesn't slow down the fight or make it boring like bernard and ricky's excessive clinching does
